SIGHTSEER: A Post-apocalyptic World

LEXI_POLEMOS
Approximately 3,141 years ago, according to the oldest historical book, it records a world that is vibrant and full of life, and a world where people can roam and travel without fear, to experience the beauty, to see, and to feel the abundance it gives. However it was also recorded that it's the year the first gods suddenly appeared, and began ravaging the world tearing down great civilization and even the ones that tried to thrive. The gods didn't bring salvation when they arrived before humanity, instead it ruled over the skies, the land, and the ocean killing whoever stepped foot into their domains. And just like that on the same year the world was never the same. The land shifted colliding with one another forming mountains and creating different terrains, the sea rise burying cities destroying lives, and the sky no longer followed the natural order where one city will experience endless storms that ravage it but the one besides it experience magnified heat burning trees and melting steel. Until the 'genesis' arrived when the first god was killed and brought a spark of hope to humanity. The story began on the year 1,853 of the current era ATG (After The Genesis), the protagonist woke up in the middle of a gloomy dessert with only a holographic companion named SAI (Systematic Artificial Intelligence) and world different form what he knew, a knowledge even he himself don't know how he got. In that knowledge he dreamt of a vibrant world full of life, people everywhere, buildings that are intricately designed, and a place where no creatures named gods hunting and destroying homes. Now after waking up he only has a few thing in mind, to see the world and hoped to know who or what he is. Passion project of mine, so the the update can really fluctuate.

The Extra: Subject 082

Rio only wanted to see how the story ended. Instead, he woke up inside it. Not as the protagonist, not even as a supporting character—but as someone who barely existed in the narrative. An extra with no importance, no future, and no place in the story’s direction. At least, that’s how it was supposed to be. Now in the body of Rio Valen, a disgraced noble exiled from his own house, he finds himself in a region the original story barely touched—one driven as much by advanced technology as it is by arcane power. And buried beneath it, something far worse. The facility he wakes up in shouldn’t exist. The experiments conducted there shouldn’t have succeeded. And whatever was placed inside him was never meant to survive. As fragments of memory return—both his own and the life he inherited—Rio begins to understand the situation he’s in. The world still follows its original course. The key figures are still moving toward the same future. But his existence doesn’t fit anywhere within it. Even so, people begin to notice him. Not because of who he is—but because of something they can’t quite explain. A presence. A flaw. Or something far more dangerous. Some approach out of curiosity. Others, for reasons he doesn’t understand. And a few, simply because staying away isn’t an option. With no role to follow and no clear path ahead, Rio is left with a simple choice: Stay invisible and survive. Or step into a story that was never meant to include him. Because in a world that already has its main character— an extra that shouldn’t exist might be the only thing that can change it. **The cover used is temperoray, I hold no credits towards the art**
