So although he got to play a few games with his buddies and reach a new personal record in the gym on his initial return, this enjoyable and peaceful break wouldn't last long because after a single exciting fun filled night with the boys on Left 4 Dead, he found himself being unceremoniously ripped from his home and thrown into a world filled to the brim with walking undead and on the fast track to ruin. | Other information | The MC is above average in terms of physical abilities, pretty intelligent, and ruthless right from the get-go. If that's not something you like, I suggest finding something else to read since there are plenty of works with passive MCs that get stomped on a regular basis but somehow survive like an immortal cockroach. Also, this is a multiverse story, so we’ll be venturing into other worlds of the zombie and infection variety besides Left 4 Dead.
