The Fantasy Paradox
The meter kept climbing, its glow intensifying until the screen flashed a single, impossible phrase:
“Logic Disruption — Level: God.”
That was the moment Jayden’s world changed forever.
Not in the way it did for other sixteen-year-olds when their magic awakened—no, his awakening was something far beyond human comprehension.
It was the day destiny reached out and tore him from the ordinary, casting him into the realm of legends.
Jayden’s path was unlike any other. His fate was written in defiance of human limits, bound to transcend the very laws of existence.
“Hmph. You’re too weak,” said the voice that echoed through the silence.
“Are you sure we’re the same person?”
Fantasy stood before him, his gaze sharp, his tone dripping with disdain.
They shared the same face, the same soul—but Fantasy was Jayden’s future self. A future scarred and broken.
A future where the world had been reduced to ashes because he lacked the strength to stop the supreme being known only as The One.
“I walked a lonely path,” Fantasy said, his eyes clouded with regret. “I thought solitude was the price to protect others from pain. But I was wrong.” He paused, the air trembling with power and grief. “You… will walk a different path.”
And so it began—Jayden’s journey to surpass his future self, to rise beyond all who came before him, and to challenge the fate that threatened to consume his world.
This time, he would not walk that path alone.
