Elias Reed was a data analyst, murdered on Earth for a secret he never understood. He wakes up in the body of Alucent Luci, a Scribe-Weaver in a steampunk world where magic is a precise, unforgiving code etched into the fabric of reality.
Senele is a world dying from beauty. A surreal Turquoise Moon radiates a strange light that warps the laws of physics, causes economic collapse, and invites parasitic horrors from beyond the veil of existence—creatures that feed on memory and leave blissful, empty shells in their wake.
To survive, Alucent must master the Threadweave Hierarchy, a magic system where advancement is a ritual of self-discovery, and failure means madness, corruption, or death. But his greatest weapon isn't a spell; it's the analytical mind of Elias Reed. He sees the patterns others miss, treating the world's encroaching anomalies as glitches in a system he is desperate to debug.
Yet, in a world where magic is governed by emotional clarity, his soul is a corrupted file—haunted by the guilt of his new life and the ghosts of the family he lost on Earth.
