Heir of the Sundered Crown

DarkLoreWriter
Jaehaerys raised his chin, undaunted. This man couldn't harm him, he reminded himself, that's why he brought Prince Viserys to the capital in the first place. "I am the Crown Prince of the Seven Kingdoms. A dragon. You are nothing more than a fool who befriended one," Jaehaerys replied, having prepared that line in advance. It had the desired effect. The Small Council members turned to look at Connington. The man trembled with rage, balling his fists. Strangely, he reminded Jae of Viserys. "And if I don't?" he asked. "If you don't, Lord Baratheon will take this tale back home. Ser Jaime will wonder out loud every chance he gets why our Lord Regent was so unwilling to protect the Crown Prince though he'd been aware of his mistreatment the entire time. Soon enough, the entire realm will know." Jaehaerys tilted his head. "And I wonder how my family in the North will feel about that." "Not to mention the common people, when they hear an up-jumped minor Lord, my bannerman no less, dared to harm a Prince of the Blood. They remember the only reason you're in power is because you took advantage of the chaos at the end of the Rebellion," Lord Stannis seconded Jaehaerys, the large man and the little boy glaring at the Lord Regent in unison. His face grew so red, it matched his hair. Jaehaerys feared his head might explode. In the end, Lord vary broke the silence when he said, "Perhaps the Prince's suggestion is sound. Prince Viserys should be sent to Dragonstone. Out of sight and out of mind, as they say." Finally, Connington gave a nod. So slight, one could doubt he agreed at all. "But Daenerys stays," Jaehaerys pushed on. "I won't have her at Dragonstone where Viserys can torment her." "Fine!" Connington said, "Now, begone." "You don't order the Crown Prince around, fool!" Stannis protested. "That's quite alright, Lord Baratheon," he said, looking up at him with a small smile. "I was leaving anyway." Thank you for reading! The Dark Prince's Lover

The dance ended with a final, graceful spin. Lord Greyson released Dydra with a courteous smile, his admiration lingering in his eyes as he gave a slight bow. “A pleasure, as always,” he said lightly. Dydra returned the smile out of habit, though her thoughts were already elsewhere. She gave a small excuse and stepped away, her gaze drifting across the ballroom as if searching for something—someone. But whatever she sought, she did not find. A faint frown creased her brows. Without another word, she turned and slipped out of the ballroom, heading toward the quiet of the garden. The cool night air should have calmed her. It didn’t. “You’re letting other men touch you?” The voice came from behind her—low, unhurried… almost lazy. But Dydra’s entire body reacted instantly. A sharp shiver ran through her. She didn’t need to turn to know who it was. That voice carried something unmistakable beneath its calm surface—something restrained. Something dangerous. “I—it’s not—” Her voice broke mid-sentence. Panic tightened her throat as cold sweat formed along her skin. “Need I remind you,” he continued evenly, each word measured, “who you belong to?” The calmness was the most terrifying part. Not anger. Not shouting. Just control—tight, absolute control. Dydra parted her trembling lips again, but no sound came. Her mind went blank. Then suddenly— A hand closed around her waist. Firm. Possessive. Her breath caught as her eyes squeezed shut on instinct, her body going still. “Dydra,” his voice dropped to a whisper, closer now. “Who do you belong to?”

The Legendary Knight: Rise of the Primordial Dragon

Join discord: https://discord.gg/XmEdVp84Z Twenty years ago, the Legendary Knight single-handedly ended the devastating War of Dragons, becoming humanity's greatest hero. In the remote countryside village of Grimwood, a boy named Vlad grew up chasing that legend with unwavering determination, driven by a promise he had once made to the moon. However, at sixteen, during the Awakening Ritual, he was branded a failure—awakening only a pathetic D-Rank talent that promised nothing but mediocrity. Yet while others mocked his impossible dream, Vlad refused to give up. Together with his childhood companion Chloe and the friends he would meet within the walls of Arcane Academy, he continued moving forward. What no one knew was that he had awakened something far greater than mere talent. [Legacy System Initialized... Welcome, Host.] As Vlad takes his first steps toward an impossible dream, ancient mysteries begin to unravel and primordial beings that have slumbered for countless ages slowly begin to awaken, their attention inexplicably drawn to Vlad, a D-Ranked boy. --- It's a slow-paced fantasy academy story filled with action, comedy, and a lot of heartwarming romantic moments that will leave you grinning under your blanket at night. No overexaggerated moments of everyone calling the MC pathetic or trash because of his talent. It's a one-time thing and then it's done. Once the protagonist proves his strength, he won't be mindlessly mocked. No over-the-top cliche drama of spoiled noble kids picking fights with the commoner MC in the academy. There are only mild moments to keep the story grounded in reality.
