Zenon is a young man from Spezia, a high school student living a cold, routine life. He doesn't care much for the people around him, doesn't believe in much of anything, and faces the world with a dry, distant logic.
One day, he joins his classmates on a school trip to the Amazon — a forbidden region, off-limits because of old, dangerous scientific experiments buried there.
What should have been nothing more than a field trip turns into a catastrophe.
Violence erupts, senseless and unexplained, and Zenon finds himself alone in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by death and secrets.
To survive, he'll have to rely on nothing but himself — make brutal choices, and uncover a dark side of himself he never knew existed.
A side tied to a power he doesn't understand, one that comes with a heavy price.
