Jake Frost: Destroyer of the apocalypse

Ferro28
When betrayal costs him everything, including his life, Jake Carlson gets an impossible second chance. In a frozen apocalypse where humanity huddles in underground shelters and frost beasts prowl the surface, Jake has always been the family scapegoat, the adopted son who risks his life for supplies while his stepmother Angela, stepbrother Markus, and ex-girlfriend Hailey take everything and give nothing. When a frost beast attack forces survivors into a sealed shelter, Jake is left outside to die, betrayed by the very people he sacrificed for. As monsters tear him apart, Jake's final thought is a desperate wish: "If only I could go back." Then he wakes up. It's April 4, 2024 three months before the apocalypse begins. Jake remembers everything: the brutal cold, the frost beasts, the betrayals, and most painfully, the death of his childhood friend Jules two weeks into the disaster. Armed with knowledge of what's coming and a mysterious icy power awakening in his chest, Jake has one goal: survive, thrive, and infiltrate the organizations that hold the key to understanding and possibly preventing the apocalypse. His childhood friend Jules works for Nexus Corp, one of the mysterious "Four" companies building high-security shelters across the country. But Jake suspects they know more than they're letting on. To save Jules and uncover the truth, he must get inside Nexus Corp before it's too late. What Jake doesn't know is that deep beneath the earth, a shadowy council controls four ancient sources of power connected to the coming disaster an event they call "The Rupture." These sources are destabilizing, and the council is racing to complete "Phase One" before everything collapses. But something has shifted in the balance. An anomaly. An energy disturbance that occurred exactly when Jake returned to the past. As Jake fights to reclaim his father's stolen hotel empire, outmaneuver his treacherous family, and infiltrate Nexus Corp, powerful forces are beginning to notice him. The council monitors their sources obsessively, and any disruption could expose their carefully laid plans or doom the world before Jake can save anyone. Jake knows when the world will end. What he doesn't know is that his second chance may have already set forces in motion that no one can control.

Umbra Overlord: Night Mother's Champion

WARNING: This story isn’t for the faint of heart. The main character is shameless, crude, and unapologetically ruthless. If you want a clean-cut hero who plays by the rules, this isn’t your tale. ------------------------------------------ But if you crave raw power, dark humor, divine legacies, and the rise of a shameless, ruthless legend — buckle up. Growing up, Corven had always known he was different. He was a misfit. An outsider. He never fit in, nor did he want to. And he got bullied for it. So when he learns that he's a demigod son of the strongest primordial god, he wasn't too surprised. But power attracts enemies. And Erebus has many. You don't become the strongest without garnering quite a few, and being the son of the strongest can only protect one for so long. As the son of the Primordial of Darkness and the inheritor of a feared legacy tied to the a forgotten family who once ruled the Shadow Realm and its scattered powers, Corven quickly becomes a target in a brutal world ruled by gods, monsters, demigods, nobles, cultivators, ancient Houses and ruthless politics. He must quickly build his power, brick by brick, because, if he knew one thing, it was this: He was never going to be weak ever again, and he'll ensure that comes out on top. In this world, strength defines worth, betrayal is currency, and weakness is an invitation to die. So Corven must grow stronger. Faster. Smarter. More ruthless. Because if he doesn’t, the enemies hunting him will bury him long before he ever reaches his full potential. His road is a bloody one, filled with war, betrayal, ancient enemies, and powers beyond mortal comprehension. Yet, with his loyal friends at his back and a primordial family that seems hellbent on gifting him absurdly overpowered abilities, Corven may actually stand a chance against the forces seeking his downfall... At least externally, anyway. Because the true enemy may lie within. See, power in this world comes at a cost. And Primordial Spawns are cursed notoriously worse than most. Sure, there may be Monarchs blessed by the elements. Demigods blessed by the gods. And Progenitors blessed by evolution itself. Primordial Spawns --- children born to primordial parents --- are blessed by the Primordials themselves; they are born with limitless potential and favored by the universe itself. But they are born with a curse. The stronger they become, the more their sanity begins to fracture beneath the weight of their own power. After all, the cost of power is madness and, as the strongest of the Primordial Spawns, Corven has madness in spades. Suffice to say, if the enemies of Erebus don’t kill Corven before his ascension... His own insanity might just do the trick. He fights dirty. He talks back. Mercy? There is none left. This is not a story about heroes. This is the rise of the Shadowborn monster the world tried to erase — and the legend that will force them to remember why darkness was the very first element in creation... And why it is feared. ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ Additional Tags: - Anti-Hero - Villain - Magic - Cultivation - Undead - Summons - Broken - Gods - Myths - Betrayals - Vengeance - Werewolves - Vampires - Demons - Warlocks - Witches ------------------------------------ Release Schedule & Bonuses • 2+ Chapters every 3–4 days • Bonus Chapter every third Friday • Power Stone Milestones:   • 35 = +1 Chapter   • 55 = +4 Chapters • 20 Shares = +2 Chapters ------------------------------------ Read.
