My Soul. Occupied Body - Please, the Other Me...!

Heartbreak01
What to expect when reading this chronicle/story: A random System that is minimal in pretty much everything. And when I say random, I mean random! Two souls, sharing similarities but coming from different starting points, somehow staying in one body. Yuri? Yes to Yuri. Futa? Tasteful, but may come around. Fantasy or Sci-fi? I honestly don't know. I am only a Slime penning down vision from another world while immersing in a coffee hot tub. Polygamy, because why the hell not? How many girls? I don't know. I'm not an author in the traditional sense. P.S: Naval Warfare combined with Mecha Combat because RNGesus exists. Congrats to those who hope for this particular combination. P.S.S: How the Hell would a Slime combine both genres into one?! I don't have a brain! Before the synopsis below, here are some useful links as a shameless self-advertisement. https://www.patreon.com/c/Heartbreak117 (There are regular discounts to be had up here. Early Access Chapters and even possible Cameo appearances, too, if you read the fine print.) https://www.webnovel.com/book/reich-marshal-of-the-belkan-reich_23809095505377305 https://www.webnovel.com/book/in-the-grimdark-sector-with-a-system_31596105108346205 _______________________________Sypnosis________________________________ Having come to terms with my mortality, I suddenly find myself wandering in front of a Bar in an ever-changing void. No familiar sighs to be found. No landmark worth a damn can be used to triangulate my position. It is an overall confusing and mind-numbing experience. I react like any normal person who is already dead would and push open the double door, causing a windchime to peal tastefully as I nearly run inside. A blink of an eye later, I find my gaze locked to an extraordinarily beautiful lady, who is cleaning a glass behind the bar counter. The Bartender, with her eyes strangely closed, still manages to fix me with a meaningful glance that prompts me out of my stupor. The moment I meekly plop myself on the stool, the Bartender greets me in an enchanting voice. "Few that do reach my Bar tend to do so with invitations. Rarer still are those that come across here out of sheer chance. You, my dear guest, belong to the latter category." "My name is Viola, the owner and Bartender of the Random Omniversal Bar. To commemorate our first meeting, allow me to mix you a Piano Woman. It's only fitting that a girl who looks as sweet as you deserves a matching drink." "After your soul has quenched its thirst and calmed its emotion, however, may I interest you in a deal? Don't worry, it's not anything that you will find distasteful..." "Huhm... You may see it as me handing out a Beginner's Quest to an interesting individual. After all, for you to get here by pure chance is something to take note of, by me, of course." "So, what say you, my dear?" -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I should have read the fine print. It's indeed a bonus that I got a mysterious System that, while being minimal in presentation, actually comes with all sorts of features that my previous tumultuous life would kill to have. But never in my long, former lifetime would I expect to one day occupy a body that is already, well, occupied. To say it's an interesting experience would be a major understatement. I am at a loss for words; however, when the other occupant of our now shared physical flesh willingly cedes the reins of her body to me, of all people. It spares us the cliche of two souls fighting for control, but the other me does so out of PTSD! My poor other me got so traumatized by events before my arrival that I have no choice but to take charge of the situation. Screw me and my bleeding heart, I can't let my other me waste away in a corner of our shared mental space. "Please, the other me..." "I know. I know. I won't hurt them... much. Whether they live or not is up to fate, however..." "No one can hurt us with impunity."

HunterxHunter: Meruem the ant King story

Meruem was supposed to die. Komugi was supposed to die beside him. Neither of them did. But survival was never the miracle it seemed. Meruem awakens in a world that has already buried him, stripped of his kingdom, his Royal Guards, and much of the overwhelming power that once made him the apex of his species. Only one thing remains unchanged. Komugi. And now, she is dying again. Something inside her Nen has begun to collapse. Her aura grows increasingly unstable, and every attempt to stabilize it only delays the inevitable. Then Meruem learns of Folklore — the Divine Rose, a mysterious plant reportedly discovered during a disastrous expedition beyond the boundaries of the known world. A plant capable of restoring what Nen itself has broken. There is only one problem. Folklore exists on the Cursed Continent. A place from which entire expeditions have vanished. For the King who once believed strength could solve everything, the answer should be simple: Go there. Take the Rose. Return. Save Komugi. But the human world does not bend to strength so easily. To reach Folklore, Meruem must obtain information he cannot simply seize, enter institutions that have no place for someone like him, become a Hunter, navigate conspiracies buried inside forbidden archives, and eventually cross a world whose rules even humanity barely understands. Worse still, Komugi is becoming too weak to follow him. For the first time, Meruem must protect someone by leaving her behind. While Komugi remains under the care of an old Nen healer on the distant shores of Whale Island, Meruem begins a journey without servants, without an army, and eventually without even the certainty that he is the strongest creature in the room. Along the way, enemies become temporary allies. Temporary allies become companions. And a King who was born to command slowly discovers something far more dangerous than obedience: trust. But Meruem is not the only one searching for an answer. Somewhere ahead of him walks another Hunter. A boy who once sacrificed everything for power—and returned unable to use the Nen that once defined him. Gon Freecss. Without knowing it, Gon and Meruem are following two different mysteries toward the same forbidden horizon. Their paths will cross. Separate. And cross again. Because beyond the maps, beyond the Hunters, beyond the Protectors and the secrets hidden inside the Black Atlas, something is waiting. Something connected to Nen. To Folklore. Perhaps even to the forgotten origins of the Chimera Ants themselves. Meruem once asked what it meant to be a King. Now the world will force him to answer a harder question: What becomes of a creature born to rule… when the person he loves can only be saved by learning to live as something else?
