This story follows Lucian Thornvale, a thirty-two-year-old man belonging to a third-tier royal family. Most luxuries are at his fingertips. His wife is considered the most beautiful woman among the third-tier royals, yet there is no love in their married life—he simply cannot fall in love. Marriages between royals are nothing more than political acts.
However, a forced marriage is not the reason he cannot love her. In fact, the relationship between Lucian and his wife is quite good for a forced marriage. *This story is slow-paced and really focuses on deep character chemistry before anything else happens. Mature scenes will not appear every few chapters (after the first two, actually).
