Sea Circle Calendar, Year 1503. The Rocks Pirates are finished — shattered in the wake of the God Valley Incident.
When a whale falls, a whole world rises from its bones. The monsters that had lurked in Rocks's shadow scattered to the winds, each carving out their own piece of the world.
The World Nobles, comfortable in their perches on the Red Line, never thought to look higher. They never imagined that something far worse than Rocks had been watching them all along — patient, silent, looking down from a height they couldn't even conceive of.
Not until the sky cracked open.
Not until thunder swallowed the empty throne whole.
His name was Anus. The man who had pushed the Rumble-Rumble Fruit to its absolute limit — and then kept going.
The world knew him by many names:
Lord of the Skies. Father of Gods. The Thunder God.
"From this day forward," he said, "I make my home in the heavens."
