Only until five

XhenChen12
It starts on a Wednesday. At exactly 4:00 pm, the door to Classroom 4-B clicks shut — and won't open again until 5. No one else notices. No one else is ever inside. Just Meiko and Haru, two people who share nothing except the same trapped hour, the same four walls, and the same stubborn silence. They don't talk the first day. Or the second. But the hour is long, and the room is quiet, and eventually — slowly, reluctantly — words start to fill the space between them. What begins as irritation becomes curiosity. Curiosity becomes confession. Confession becomes the kind of closeness that terrifies people who have learned to keep their distance. Neither of them knows why the door keeps locking. Neither of them asks. Because somewhere around the fourth week, the real question stops being how to get out — and starts being what happens when the hour finally ends for good.
