She called out, her voice weak and hoarse.
The Azure Emperor patted her hand, speaking gently, "It's all right now. I'm here."
"Master, I'm thirsty. I want water." Her voice was raspy and dry, as if a fire burned within her.
"Alright, just a moment." With a wave of his hand, the teapot and cup resting on the table flew over, landing steadily beside the bedside. After pouring a cup of water, he said, "Here, Master will help you sit up."
He lifted her up, propping her against the pillows behind her to sit, then pulled the quilt up higher before offering her the water.
Yue'er tried to reach for it, only to find her arms too weak to even lift.
"Your body is still weak. After lying in bed for over ten days, your strength won't return immediately." With that, he brought the cup to her lips and helped her drink.
