Angel understood Laplace's meaning, but Laplace misunderstood his own intentions.
Similar and same tribe are different concepts.
The same tribe can be similar, but similar is not necessarily the same tribe.
However, it is normal for Laplace to misunderstand because the definition of "similar" is very broad: like-minded is similar, sharing enthusiasm is similar, and similar beliefs, mutual appreciation, sharing joys and sorrows, blood relation, and even love and conflict can all be classified as similar.
Therefore, picking out "bloodline" is normal for Laplace.
But in reality, what Angel wanted to express as "similar" had nothing to do with bloodline, but rather "similar destiny."
Originally, when Angel created the Crystal Origin of Dreams in the Mirror Domain, he briefly encountered the Mirror Domain Will. Although the Mirror Domain Will supposedly has no thoughts, Angel could sense that the Mirror Domain Will had a preference for Laplace.
