Chapter 879 - I Want to Fight Ten!

In the snowy mountains of the Alps, three violent figures were engaged in an intense battle.

Within several dozen zhang around them, fierce snow waves rolled like raging tides. Every collision between their bodies erupted with shockwaves visible to the naked eye, accompanied by bursts of metallic roars.

Steve fought one against two, yet did not fall into disadvantage at all.

Judging from the situation on the battlefield, he even held a slight upper hand, suppressing the two power armor soldiers.

If this were in the past, he absolutely would not have dared imagine that he could actually suppress two power armor soldiers in a frontal clash.

But after mastering that completely new power, he could feel that he had become different.

It was a feeling impossible to describe with words, like a rebirth after shedding his old body. A tremendous change from inside to outside had opened the genetic treasure vault hidden within the human body and torn apart the chains that had always bound him.

And all of these changes originated from that demon-like arm.

Steve did not know where it came from, but he could vaguely guess that those terrifying monsters he had encountered back on the Siberian ice plains were inseparably connected to this arm of his.

Was it... a gift? Or... a curse?

However, these matters temporarily had little to do with him.

The only thing he needed to consider now was how to use his fists to smash the remaining two power armors apart.

Boom boom boom...

As fists collided, Steve's aura grew increasingly violent.

Because of Red Skull's order to capture him alive, the two power armor soldiers could not use lethal weapons, so they could only choose to clash head-on with him. But in doing so, they were attacking his strength with their weakness, and soon they were forced back with no path of retreat.

"Chance!"

Steve seized that instant of opening, bent forward, stepped, and charged ahead. The entire earth seemed to tremble.

Amid rolling snow waves, a violent figure smashed through layers of air. His left fist, its power already fully accumulated, swung upward from below in a full-moon arc as a left hook.

With a loud bang, his left fist struck the power armor's steel helmet squarely.

Terrifying power like mountains roaring and seas howling spread inch by inch along his fist bones. The heavy punch stirred up layers of airwaves, and the explosive force easily tore apart the hard steel helmet. The modified soldier's entire head inside burst apart like a watermelon.

Scarlet mixed with sticky white matter scattered like a blooming bewitching thing, decorating the monotonous snowy plain with color.

Steve, stained with filth at close range, had eyes that became even more blood-red and violent. As though affected by that power, his violent aura rose to an even higher level, rushing toward the other person like a mountain pressing down.

The power armor soldier showed not the slightest ripple, cold like a corpse, directly swinging a fist toward Steve.

Steve raised his shield to block the punch, then lifted one foot and heavily kicked the power armor's knee.

The joints were the only weakness of the power armor, but that was only relatively speaking. If it were the previous Steve, even kicking it would do nothing. But the problem was that the current Steve was no longer the same as before.

Crack!

The power armor soldier let out a muffled groan.

His knee was forcibly kicked broken, pale bone piercing through the armor as it bent backward and knelt to the ground.

Before he could make any counterattack, his face was struck by a punch.

The enormous force smashed his entire body onto the ground, and even cracks burst across the steel helmet.

Steve directly discarded his shield, mounted the waist of the power armor soldier, and swung both fists down like falling rain.

One punch after another, as though venting the fury in his heart.

Bang bang bang bang bang bang...

Through the helmet's electronic eyes, the soldier could only see countless fist shadows smashing down. At first, he could still raise both arms to barely resist, but later he gradually lowered his arms, no longer moving like a corpse.

"Die——for me!"

Steve raised his left arm high, condensed that power, then suddenly bent down and smashed it downward.

Bang!

The power armor soldier was struck squarely in the chest, blood spraying wildly from the faceplate. The surrounding rolling snow waves rose several meters high. The ceramic steel capable of resisting an artillery shell head-on could not withstand this brutal brute force, collapsing and caving in amid the sharp wail of metal.

The earth, amid an overwhelmed groan, collapsed like fragile blocks of tofu.

The powerful armor actually fell apart under this punch. The soldier inside was merely flesh and blood, so how could he withstand fist power that even power armor could not bear? On the spot, every tendon and bone in his body snapped, blood flowed from all seven orifices, and he died violently.

"Ahhhhhh——!!!"

Steve seemed to be venting the rage in his chest, his roar shaking the nearby snow-covered mountain forest as he wantonly released that violent impulse.

Although this arm granted him power, there was also a bad side to it. It stimulated the most primitive violent and murderous impulse buried deep within the human heart.

Just like Steve now, with both eyes blood-red, violent, and unrestrained. Where was there even a trace of a hero's appearance? He was practically a living supervillain.

Huff..... huff...

Scorching white breath came from his mouth. Steve's eyes were blood-red as he slowly raised his fist.

Large amounts of sticky, boiling blood dripped bit by bit along his fist bones. Steve removed the power armor helmet, raised it before his eyes, stared at the still-moving electronic eye, and pulled the corner of his lips into a cold smile: "Red Skull, is this all you've got?!"

Through that remaining electronic eye, Steve seemed to be able to see Red Skull flying into a rage, and this was exactly the result he wanted.

"Red Skull, you're dead!"

With blood staining his face, Steve looked like a complete supervillain as he grinned savagely: "No matter where you hide, no matter how tight your defenses are, I'll drag you out and make you repent in hell!"

"The premise is..... that you can do it."

The scarlet electronic eye flickered a few times, and a familiar voice came from inside the helmet: "Steve Rogers, although I don't know how you obtained that power, if it is only at this level, you cannot kill me."

"Is that so?"

Steve sneered, not taking it seriously: "The power armor soldiers you're so proud of have all been dealt with by me. They were simply unable to withstand a single blow. Besides, I really want to know how many more power armors like this you can have."

The reason he said this was not because he was speaking arrogantly.

Steve slightly clenched his left arm, feeling that surging power. He felt that he really could fight ten.

Moreover, according to Howard's calculations, the number of power armors inside HYDRA was extremely rare. Aside from those supplied to the German frontlines, there would be at most around eight power armors inside that mountain base.

He had already killed four, so there should only be five or six left at most.

Mastering this new power had greatly increased his confidence. A mere five or six power armors would be solved in minutes, wouldn't they?

"Hahahahaha... so this is your confidence?" Red Skull's voice, mixed with mockery and ridicule, clearly echoed across the snowfield through the helmet: "You wouldn't naively think I only have a mere four power armors, would you?"

"Even if you still have ten power armors, I can still smash them apart!" Steve said proudly.

"Then I'll have to trouble Captain America to let me witness it."

Red Skull's cold and hoarse voice from the helmet made Steve's back feel slightly chilled.

Creak... creak... creak.....

The sound of stepping on accumulated snow came from behind him, and Steve subconsciously turned around to look.

Ten power armor soldiers stood there in perfect formation, like death-seeking ghosts in the night, standing within the thickly snow-covered forest. Their massive bodies and scarlet electronic eyes emitted a pressure that made one's heart tremble.

"As you requested, I sent ten."

The annoying voice came from the helmet: "Now, please let me witness who is superior between Captain America, the pinnacle creation of biotechnology, and HYDRA's most advanced mecha technology."

"..."

If time could turn back, Steve wanted to return to a few seconds earlier.

Not for anything else, but simply to slap that arrogant self from a few seconds ago to death. Why did he have to run his mouth and shout that he would fight ten?

Now this was great. The other side had really sent ten power armor soldiers.

"Howard, if I can go back this time, I'll definitely beat you until you can't get out of bed for three months!" Steve cursed inwardly. That unreliable bastard Howard had sworn that there would definitely be no more than eight power armors.

Pure bullshit!
