Zeph and Colbee entered a large building at the center of Leo City.
Hundreds of people were present within the building today conversing with one another and pointing around at all the things within the hub.
Zeph and Colbee walked to the front desk where they were then greeted by a red haired attendant wearing the Constellation Union uniform, blue shirt, grey vest, grey miniskirt, just like an airline attendant.
"Welcome to the Constellation Information Hub, Leo City Branch! How can we help you today!" said the attendant working the desk.
"Hi! We'd like to register a user profile with the Constellation Union now that we have turned eighteen miss!" said Zeph politely.
"That won't be a problem, please provide your full name, city of birth, and current address." requested the attendant.
"Zeph Fulgram, Leo City, Leo City Orphanage" replied Zeph.
"Colbee Bryant, Leo City, Leo City Orphanage" continued Colbee.
"Thank you, this will take a few moments." smiled the attendant.
"Yo! Colbee, wipe that drool off your mouth bro" whispered Zeph nudging Colbee.
"Damn bro! Just let me keep dreaming bro." said an annoyed Colbee.
"Here are your Constellation Union devices. Since you have just turned eighteen and have no affiliation with anyone, you are of no rank. Your Constellation ID and profile are within these devices. You now have access to the Constellation Union markets and economy. The Constellation Union has provided you with five hundred contribution points. These are used to purchase things anywhere within the Constellation Continent. In order to obtain more you will have contribute to society one way or another whether it be through regular citizen work, work boards, which are mission postings, or military allowances. You may also use your contribution points within the Constellation Union marketplace. Please input your Citizen ID in order to confirm your Constellation Profile. Should you lose your device in the future, your citizen ID will be used to confirm your profile." instructed the attendant.
Constellation Points became the de-facto currency of the Continent when the Constellation Union took over as a way to merge and bring unity amongst all the nations. All the financial institutions and marketplaces were synced with ConstellationNet, an adult had full access to leverage Constellation Points any way they would want. Zeph and Colbee previously were able to pay for food and necessities using a card provided by the orphanage as they were not allowed to sync with ConstellationNet.
Zeph and Colbee entered their citizen ID upon request. A screen came up with information regarding Zeph.

The pair cheered in unison while high fiving one another.
"Ahem, I don't mean to interrupt your celebration but we do have a long line behind you. Lastly, we offer to all eighteen year old newcomers our calamity energy test. All humans in the last several hundred years have been able to utilize a new energy ever since the apocalypse.
We provide this service free of charge. The Constellation Union believes in having no person left behind, and we provide instructions to all youths so that they may be considered contributors to humanity in the future, regardless if able to manifest calamity energy." smiled the attendant. "Would you like to take the test now?"
"Yes!" was said by Zeph and Colbee at the same time. Their blood was pumping, this was the moment they would be able to start using calamity energy.
The attendant gestured to an old man wearing a suit with the constellation union emblem on it. The man had just left a room and was talking to two young looking adults who were also taking the tests.
"Sir Contee, please show these two gentleman to the testing room, they will be testing their calamity energy today."
"Please follow me boys." said Old Man Contee.
Zeph and Colbee left the attendant and followed the old man into the testing room. The room was circular, at its center an altar with a ring hovering at the top. The ring was adorned with a handle and three dots were embedded on the handle. The old man Contee guided the pair to the center.
"Hundreds of years have gone by since the apocalypse, and the only thing we know from that radiation wave is that there was a sudden shift in the life forms of the planet. Beasts became intelligent and barbaric, humans were slow to adapt to the sudden nature. However at the time of our doom, humankind as always, found a way. Humans found a way to ignite the dormant cells within their body and adapt to the radiation wave that struck earth as to how the beasts did. Just like when humanity found the joys of fire. All it took was one human to ignite the dormant cells and then share it with the rest of humanity. We do not know this man's real name as it was lost through the course of time, but we must thank him for he truly was the savior of mankind." the old man paused. "Years of adapting technology have given us the ability to ignite the dormant cells within the human body at will. We have learned that at the age of eighteen the human body is sufficiently able to cultivate this new capability." exclaimed the old man.

Old Man Contee grabbed a circular device with a needle embedded in it.
"This device is called the calamity needle What you will do is grab the ring and a sharp incision will be made into your hand, the sensor will inject calamity energy into your bloodstream igniting the calamity cells.
Once activated only then will an individual be able to manifest calamity energy. Please be warned that not all humans are able to manifest calamity energy, however that does not mean you cannot still contribute to our society " instructed old man Contee. "So who's first?"
