[Grandora City, Main Road]
Soon after as the clash continued mid air, Cuatro was forced to crash on the main road and immediately dodge when Kanzaki dropped down with a slash.
After that Cuatro then glanced at the army of chaos beast and immediately retreated back to them in hopes of having Kanzaki stop his chase after her. Of course just as she expected, after kanzaki crash landed, he never chased feet her, as he only stood there watching her get to the chaos beast wave on the main road.
At the same time unknown to Cuatro the real reason why Kanzaki stopped chasing her was because, the latter saw multiple occasions where whenever he tried charging at her even in front of the presence of the chaos beings wave, he would receive fierce retaliation which would heavily injure him.
When he saw that, he has no choice but to simply let her regroup back to the wave in front of him. At the same moment he also stood before Uno and stood in between the army and their goal.
Once Cuatro returned, Dos couldn't help but laugh at her situation, while eyeing Kanzaki who bravely stood before them all alone.
"You look wrecked Cuatro, was that guy that strong for you to look like that?"
"Oh shut it! It's not that he is strong, but his skills and his swords are troublesome to meddle with, it was quite hard trying to land a hit on him" Retorted by Cuatro
"Hoh! Is that so? Indeed! It is only natural that you feel that way towards a person who is in our list of top fighters that are part of this city based on Nueve's report"
"Still you manage to get rid of the sniper yes?" Asked by Tres
In response to that, Cuatro couldn't help but stutter as she revealed that she failed in killing the sniper but rather only incapacitated her.
When they heard that, they immediately understand the reason why she failed when Cuatro revealed of Kanzaki's intervention.
With that everyone sighed for a bit, until Nueve volunteered to get rid of Kanzaki. However Uno simply stopped him as he suddenly spoke to Kanzaki.
"You have talent... you manage to repel one of our own and it's one of the upper ranks at that... I'll give you a chance, would you like to join us? That way we will spare you and everyone you desire to be saved in this war"
In response to that, Kanzaki spoke.
"Funny! Especially since those words came from someone who actually started this war... what if I tell you to leave this city alone? Would you leave?"
"Thats a tall order, that I cannot do, there is a reason why we are going country to country destroying every Headquarters of your organization but if you must, I will tell them"
"Reason? What a funny excuse" Retorted by Kanzaki
"Mhm! The reason why we are destroying your base is to advance the progress of conversion in your world" said by Uno
"Conversion?"
"Indeed! By converting, I actually meant literally... in our world, there is a specific mechanism why it continued to exist throughout the multiple milleniums and that is by feeding it with life force from another world... about a thousand years ago, we received a prophecy that are world would end in a matter of few years, our ancestors fearing this planned multiple options to try and stay alive"

"Going to the stars, finding another planet, and escaping our world, however we don't have the capacity to have everyone on our planet escape the destruction. From there another prophecy was given to us and that was the way to keep our world continue on existing"

"The way was to feed our planet with the life force of another planet, through it we can extend the lifespan of our world in expense of killing another. Desperate to survive the conquest begun. By converting 10 planet each cycle of conquest, we can extend the lifespan of our world for another thousand of years. This tradition continued on for 10,000 of years until it reached our generation. Now it is your world's turn to be sacrificed"
From there Kanzaki was both shock and silent as he finally realized why the apocalypse started and that was to actually not invade the planet but rather consume it. However if thy were being devoured, why did it took 10 years? Why do they only appear now? As if hearing his thoughts, Uno actually answered.
"Wondering why we only appeared now? We the reason for that is because we were actually busy converting other worlds aside from yours. As you know we are targeting 10 world per cycle, as of this moment we have taken down 3 worlds and your world is the fourth one... Basically the reason of it all was because first three world we visited before your world are really hard to deal with"

"All the first three worlds are worlds born in combat, so there were many fighters in that world even before the conversion started. From there many of my original colleagues in the Sentinels were killed, nevertheless we have an abundance of candidates for being a Sentinel back on our planet, that is the reason why it took us that long to reach your world, we were stalled but never stopped"
"This... didn't it ever occur to you that if you continue this, you will soon reach a dead end? There are only a couple of such living world out there" pointed out by Kanzaki
"Oh your worried about that? Well no need to fret, as a little trivia did you know in our galaxy there are millions of worlds being born and breath with life? So a measly 10 sacrificed planet is no big deal at all, quite a revelation right?"
From Uno's reveal, Kanzaki finally knew why this apocalypse started, the very same apocalypse that took his family's life, the apocalypse that destroyed his life. All of it was due to the fact that their world is being sacrificed. In that moment rage filled Kanzaki's heart as his mana begun to move violently around him. In response to this, Uno responded.
"They always react this way... whatever Cinco, try to finish him off but don't kill him, just keep him barely alive... after all we can turn him into a Sentinel once we captured him and brought back to our world"
