Lu Hualiang's face lit up with joy; has she forgiven him?
Following inside, he saw Xia Weibao sitting by the table, calmly sipping a cup of tea.
For some reason, seeing her so calm made Lu Hualiang suddenly feel uneasy.
As Xia Weibao was about to finish her tea, he picked up the teapot and poured her another cup.
Xia Weibao stared blankly, with a struggle and reluctance in her eyes.
Ultimately, she took a deep breath, calmly put down the teacup, and then looked at him calmly, "Lu Hualiang, let me leave the palace."
Lu Hualiang's expression changed, "What did you say?!"
"Let me leave the palace."
"Impossible!" He clasped her hand tightly in a bit of a panic, "Last night was my fault; I shouldn't have left you alone. It won't happen again, I promise."
Xia Weibao withdrew her hand and shook her head, "It's not about last night. I've thought it over; the palace isn't suitable for me."
She knows nothing about this place.
