"Going to my house?" Chuzheng asked Wun Sheng.
Wun Sheng shook his head and pointed in the direction of Uncle Da Zhuang's home.
"You're still going back? Wasn't Da Zhuang's son bullying you before? What are you going back for now, to get beaten?"
Wun Sheng nodded, a dark glint flashing deep in his eyes.
"Fine, suit yourself."
Chuzheng had Ling Jun take him back.
Wun Sheng watched Chuzheng leave, took a couple of steps forward, seemingly wanting to call out to her.
But in the end, he just swallowed a few times without saying a word.
Ling Jun took him back and handed him everything Chuzheng had given him.
"Brother, these are clothes and food, take them."
Wun Sheng nodded and accepted them.
Ling Jun gave some instructions and then rode off quickly on his bicycle.

When Chuzheng returned home, Ling Jiaojiao was doing laundry in the yard. Seeing her come back, she almost made a snide remark but then remembered Chuzheng's recent actions and kept her mouth shut.
