When Jasmine Yale walked towards him, he stood still with a slightly restless look in his eyes. That restlessness, unease, and anxiety were expressions she had never seen on his face before.
He was such an elegant, composed man, full of vigor when discussing ambitious plans.
Maybe she truly was someone who only skimmed the surface. After all, she didn't even understand the man she had known for nineteen years, let alone Will Caddel, whom she had only known for less than a year.
"Jasmine." He called her name, his eyes unfocused.
She stopped walking and slightly curled her lips, "CEO Caddel."
"I'm sorry..."
She tilted her head and smiled, "CEO Caddel, thank you for taking care of me over the past half year. Before joining ZR, I had nothing, but now I've saved quite a bit. Time flies, it's almost been a year."
"I'm sorry." For a moment, he didn't know what to say, his gaze falling on her face.
She seemed very calm, showing no emotional fluctuations.
