With Sephiria interrupting in between Akito and Rex, Akito somehow found a way to survive longer in this battlefield. As long as Sephiria faces Rex,he would be able to regain his strength to be able to return back to battle ready.
With that he let the situation in between them tense even more, as he slowly fade into the background. On ther otherhand Sephiria doesn't care about how Akito thought of her. All she cares right now is to showcase that she had improved to everyone Watching on the cruise ship not far from the island.
In this test showcasing your capability is a must. After all many Academy faculty regarded getting stronger as a sign that they were able to teach the students properly and guide them to improve. Additionally if her performance in this survival test were good, it will then reflect the final grading that we will receive and will actually be commended at the graduation ceremony.
At this point she barely proved her ability by going against Lorius in the underground chamber. Even though surviving Lorius is quite a feat, she needed more great showcase of performance to get an even better grade. At most he will need to find the treasure in order to get a perfect score in this test.
Unfortunately getting the treasure is easier said than done. After all the students have already spent more than half a month on this island, but despite all their efforts none of them manage to find the treasure itself.
So the only option she had left was eliminating as much enemies as she can.
"You... your name is sephiria... I remember you, to be exact your the woman who is always by Shun's side right? I never expected a sidekick such as yourself qould be capable of defeating Sinnoh in terms of magic, I admit it that your good"

"However don't get over yourself, if you think Sinnoh and I are on the same level, you are greatly mistaken"
"Doesn't matter, all I have to do is too eliminate you" replied by Sephiria
"Quite bold aren't you? I like it"
The moment Rex said that, he immediately threw a chained dagger at her, expecting Sephiria to react poorly. However never did he expect that Sephiria had somewhat dodged that attack by leaning to the side and sending multiple mana bullets towards his direction.
Due to this Rex immediately pulled back his chains knife, as he whipped it directly towards the incoming bullet, while taking multiple jump backs tk widen the distance between them.
But the moment he got quite far from Sephiria, his foot suddenly got stuck to the ground by the ice that traps him in place, as Sephiria released a cold mana on her arms and sent a chilling cutting wave towards Rex direction.
"Chilling cut!!!"
In response to that Rex quickly ducked down to avoid the attack, before he struck the Ice trapping his feet with both of his blades, before charging towards her in incredible speed.
Seeing this, Sephiria casted an ice wall around her to prevent her from being attacked on her blindspot, as she quickly aimed her magic at the only opening she left open for the enemy tk take advantage to attack her. However unexpectedly Rex used [critical strike] combat skill to break through her wall of ice, before slashing her with multiple attacks that can even leave anyone crippled.
Thankfully the mana barrier she had set up earlier on to protect herself, had blocked all of Rex attacks, giving her ample time to launch a counter spell that forced Rex to jump away.
The moment Rex jumped away once more, Sephiria immediately casted [ice spear] spell, before she threw it towards Rex, only for it to miss when the person himself manage to redirect her attack to another angle.
After landing in the ground, Rex immediately made his dash just in time to dodge Sephiria's follow up attack,as he blitz all over the area, until he manage to get behind the latter before releasing his attack.
"Wild attack!!!"
Unfortunately Sephiria was ready for this as she had a lot of experience with enemies always aiming behind her. So the moment she felt a slight tinge of change behind her, she quickly gathered cold mana unto her hand and threw it all behind her.
"Cold wave!!!"
In that once spell, not only did she cancel Rex attack, she was also able to blow him away and crash towards the trees and rocks behind him.
Without eating any time and not taking any second chances, Sephiria quickly clasped her hands together as she casted multiple huge pillars behind her and threw them all towards Rex direction.
With that, multiple loud and violent crashes reverberated across the island, as the whole area itself turned cold despite the sun was out near high noon.
But soon after a streak of light came out from the destroyed area in the forest, as it jump form one ice block to another while getting closer to Sephiria. The moment everyone saw this, they immediately knew that Rex made it out alive from that attack and had now coated himself with mana while showcasing an incredible speed.
Soon after his pathway soon changed as he dived straight towards Sephiria with an enhanced kick that could really kill anyone who is unguarded. Unfortunately Sephiria was so ready for such an attack as she raised a wall between her and Rex and defended herself from the latter's attack.
But a simply ice wall wouldn't be enough to block Rex at all, so gathering mana to one are in her hand, she then slammed the ground with her hand and conjured multiple spikes towards the surrounding area, forcing Rex to immediately dodge and find another angle of attack.
Unknown to everyone that on that moment, the whole area was littered with ice. So without further ado, she casted another spell that left everyone speechless.
"Frost Knights!!!"
Right at that moment, all the Ice in the area disappeared at each and every single one of them manifested into a Frost knight that became Sephiria's personal army.
