Mei Sheng was coughing violently, unable to speak.
"Mei Sheng, you're an old employee at the museum. Why are you involved in this nonsense? As scientific personnel, you should have a scientific attitude. Are you trying to quit your job?"
The director was angry and scolded, "Artifacts coming to life? Hmph, you must have read too many novels. Nonsense, these are lifeless objects; how could they come alive!"
Before Mei Sheng could speak again, the director waved his hand and left, "If you feel the work is too tiring, I can reassign you so you can rest properly!"
Having said that, the director angered walked away.
A few staff members looked at Mei Sheng, showing faces full of grievance.
They were speaking the truth. Who would lie and scare themselves for no reason?
