"Once we're back at Rousseau, start moving to my place from tomorrow." Ethan gave her a sidelong glance, didn't offer any explanation, dropped the line, and turned to follow Jasper off the boat.
Summer Ford stood there, slowly processing his words, feeling like something was buzzing around her head.
Were they just competing over her?
"Ethan, you can't do this! I don't want to go!" Summer glanced at the man who was already walking down the stairs. She hurriedly followed him down, explaining as she went, "I'm working well at Jasper's place, no need to keep switching. Plus, do you think it's appropriate? You have so many assistants and secretaries, you don't need me, so why insist on this?"
Ethan didn't even turn his head, continuing on his own way.
With his long legs, he walked quickly, and Summer hurriedly followed behind him. As they disembarked, the gangplank wobbled unexpectedly, causing her to stumble forward, almost into a kneeling position.
