Summer Ford thought that she would leave once Leo's condition improved a bit.
Leo did seem better after she arrived, but unexpectedly, within two hours, his fever escalated again.
This back-and-forth continued, and even by dawn, his condition was unchanged.
When he was unwell, he liked holding Summer Ford's hand and pressing it under his head as if he didn't want her to leave.
Stella noticed all of this, and, unsure of when Leo would fully recover, she pondered for a moment, looked at Summer Ford, and suggested, "Miss Ford, if you don't mind, why not stay here for a few days?"
Summer Ford's back visibly stiffened, hesitating slightly.
"Leo seems to really like you!" Stella added.
Summer wasn't unwilling to stay; she just knew she shouldn't move in and didn't want Ethan Laurent to accidentally bump into her.
However, given Leo's current condition, she wouldn't be at ease if she left now.
