"Are you alright?" Summer Ford couldn't see his condition, so she reached out her hand to try and touch him.
The first thing she touched was his body, followed closely by his very finely chiseled face.
Aiden Lennox didn't stop her, letting her touch him without saying a word.
Summer Ford's hand lingered on his face for a moment. Realizing what she was doing, she felt slightly embarrassed.
She wanted to pull her hand back, but just as she had the impulse, her wrist was unexpectedly grasped by Aiden Lennox.
"I just heard you call my name." His voice was still calm, with what seemed like a hint of a smile hidden within.
Summer Ford's hand stiffened in his grip.
"I prefer it when you call me that way." Aiden Lennox's voice echoed again, comfortable like a breeze through willow.
"Let's find a way to get out first!" Summer was slightly stunned and withdrew her hand in discomfort, took out her phone, and dialed for help.
