Enzo Laurent stood in the center of the living room, staring at her for quite a while, gesturing upstairs with his eyes.
"Summer, let's have a talk!"
Summer Ford hesitated a moment, took a few steps wanting to follow, but her wrist was unexpectedly caught by Ethan Laurent.
Summer paused slightly, lowered her eyes, and glanced faintly at his hand.
"Don't take his words too seriously," Ethan reminded her, releasing her hand.
"Alright." Summer nodded gently, and followed Enzo Laurent upstairs.
Passing through the spiral staircase, Enzo finally led her into a guest room.
Sitting on the sofa, he took the tea cups out one by one with tweezers, brewed a cup of tea for each of them, and slowly began, "Aren't you afraid of what happened last time?"
Summer pulled at the corner of her mouth and replied honestly, "Afraid, it was terrifying at the time! But now I've grown braver."
"Really?" Enzo seemed somewhat surprised by her answer, "How did you become braver?"
