Not far behind him, Oz and the others were utterly shocked. They had just thought Reid was doomed this time, yet unexpectedly, when the strange black flame emerged, two of the Seven Deadly Sins vanished. Hearing Reid speak to the remaining members, combined with the "seeing a ghost" expressions on the faces of the Seven Deadly Sins, they were only then able to believe that Reid had indeed killed two of them.
Although Elizabeth and the others knew Reid was strong with the mastery of the Heavenly Dao, they were a bit surprised to see him easily eliminate two of the Seven Deadly Sins. But upon considering that Reid controlled the complete Heavenly Dao, while the Seven Deadly Sins derived their power from splitting the Original Sin into seven, Reid's easy victory suddenly became understandable.
