Hearing Jessica scream, Nina paused before taking another step. For a moment, she forgot that she was pregnant, so she shouldn't run around but rather take careful steps, especially on the stairs.
"Jessica, please bring hot chocolate and some dessert to study." In a heartbeat, Nina came up with an excuse. She was grateful that Jessica was here to save her every time.
Jessica sighed with relief and replied, "I'll bring them over, Miss."
Nelson and Donna, on the other hand, were startled when Jessica screamed. They thought Nina had stumbled or fallen down the stairs. Donna sighed with relief upon seeing that Nina was fine.
"It looks like Nina's mood improved," Nelson commented. Donna had been telling him over the phone that Nina looked sicker by the day. Thus, he was glad to see his daughter this happy.
