"Hi Jack, I was happy to see that you are now a soldier like me, a hunter who can train with Ron and Mark for sure you were a great hunter."
"How did you know that Ron and Mark had trained me?"
"I didn't know, you just confirmed this doubt of mine, you said you were from the same village as them and so I thought that maybe they trained you."
Jack thought Aaron was funny, even people in the villages didn't have as much admiration for hunters as Aaron did, Jake really admired them both before he became a hunter because he liked to fight and they were the only reference to a good fighter that Jack had.
But Aaron was in the capital and he had certainly seen knights fight several times, even Ron said he was not as skilled as the knights with the sword and he only knew how to kill animals and people.
"Aaron, why do you admire Ron and Mark so much that you must have met several knights who fight even better than they do?"
"This is because I can identify with both, they were ordinary people who lived in villages and because of the need they decided to become hunters, luckily the two were very skilled and had a very good teacher and became the best hunters in the villages."
"I heard this story from a friend of mine who is also a soldier like us, and you were lucky enough to train for several months with the two best hunters, so you must be so skilled with most hunters."
"Certainly I saw several times the knights fighting in tournaments organized by the nobles, even some knights were ordinary people like us who achieved the nobility for being very talented."
"But I think that knights are selfish people who use their talent to become even more selfish people who are the nobles, the knights are actually nobles who cannot command a large family and fight for a lifetime."
Jack understood what Aaron was saying, most soldiers and guards disliked knights who had good sword techniques and decided not to share with the army, and when outraged soldiers become knights, they do the same as everyone else.
Jack said nothing because he understood that if a knight decided to show his sword techniques to everyone, what made him special would become common for all soldiers to learn.
But of course, Jack did not intend to say this to Aaron or any other soldier, Aaron continued to speak ill of the knights and of hunters, it also made Jack happy because he was a hunter too.
"Hey Jack, do you want to go with me to the capital's shopping center? Let's go out for a while and eat some tasty food."
"OK let's go."
Jack liked Aaron and decided to go with him to the city for Captain Max and the other soldiers to realize that he had more friends besides Paul and not to be so suspicious of him, the guards and soldiers thought exactly the same way Jack wanted them to think.
As they walked through the mall, Jack told Aaron what he faced with the other hunters in the forest before they met, Aaron was impressed by Jack's story that he and the other hunters faced a pack of wolves.
Jack told about when they faced bears and lions too, including the story of when he was rescued by Mark and Ron after saving the women in the river, Aaron was impressed by Jack's courage to take the risk by facing three lions as he had never struggled with any wild animals before.
After all, as a soldier he thought it important that Jack had this desire to help others, even willing to risk his life, that was something that not all guards and soldiers had, and Aaron also understood that after all being a soldier or a guard was a normal professional in the capital.
Hearing the story of how Jack crossed the forest with 17 other hunters, Aaron couldn't help but think that more than 10 soldiers had already died on the Royal Road in the last year, Aaron thought that if 40 good soldiers crossed the forest they wouldn't make it.
The soldiers hunted in the forest sometimes to make the forest safer, but there were 30 soldiers or more to kill the wild animals that were only close to the Royal road, it was not without reason that the animals preferred to attack the soldiers on the Royal road than hunters and villages.
Walking on the road had more than 100 soldiers and they scared the animals less than 18 hunters, Aaron thought about how Jack could really help the soldiers on the Royal road when he could go there.
Jack had a good memory and walking around the mall he could remember many places he had visited with Paul, Jack went to eat again in the places he had most liked.
Aaron just as he had no family so he could take the salary he received from the kingdom to eat what he wanted and live well, after all, Aaron also lived in the defense tower just as Jack did.
Aaron showed Jack some places in the capital where he liked and Jack still didn't know, while they were walking in a richer part of the city they heard the screams of a woman who were soon drowned out by someone.
The two were resting, but they were still soldiers of the kingdom and quickly went to where they heard the screams, getting close to a narrow corridor near a bar where the nobles liked to drink they came something that shocked them.
A young man wearing elegant clothes was raping a young woman in this narrow corridor even while it was still late in the day, Jack was disgusted to see this and put his hand on his sword and would arrest the young man who is raping the woman.
But before Jack could do anything Aaron stopped him and pulled him away from the hall, Jack was surprised by Aaron's action but said nothing when he realized that Aaron was even angrier than he was.
"Jack, this man who is raping this young lady is a nobleman, nobles always walk the streets wearing their family crest to highlight their identity."
"Unfortunately we cannot do anything about it, if we arrest or attack this nobleman, we will be the ones who will be arrested and executed tomorrow."
