After a few more seconds Alex also shot his arrow and luckily he also hit the well, Jack was very happy with this because now they had to hit only 2 more arrows in that well to complete the mission.

Alex understood what Jack meant and was not angry about it, Jack was certainly better than them in the bow and he proved it on every hunt and on every mission, so Alex understood that it was better not to risk the mission.
After another 2 hours, they had another opportunity to hit one of the wells that until now none of the other soldiers had hit, Jack thought it was great because even if he hit only 2 arrows with this strong poison he could start poisoning the thieves.
Jack was more confident and felt that he would not go wrong with that arrow that he had already got used to, Jack shot the arrow and hit the well and waited a little while to see Alex shooting and missing the well.
Jack saw the arrow breaking with the heaviest weight and the poison falling to the ground, Alex was anxious to see that he had missed an arrow and Jack was watching if there was nobody around, Jack took another arrow and put it in the bow and spoke to Alex.

So it seemed that there were only 7 arrows left for them to poison the 4 wells, Jack and Alex went back to the camp and went to sleep, Jack hoped they would finish poisoning the wells soon because they had to complete the mission.
When Jack woke up he saw the archers who were waiting to speak to him, Jack did not expect those soldiers who were attempted to shoot the arrows after him to come to speak to him.
