The soldiers were not very motivated and were just doing this long mission because it was their duty and they trusted Captain Max who gave this mission to them because they did not know what was the reason for Andaria's kingdom to decide to fight against thieves now.

But with Jack's leadership the soldiers started to become more motivated for this war, they were close to ending this war and knew that the next day that war would end one way or another.
Of course, the soldiers realized that they were very tired that day and the leaders and best warriors on the thieves' side had not even participated in the fight, so the next day it was certain that some soldiers would die in this difficult fight.
The soldiers knew this and were prepared for it, the archers were safer because they were protected by other soldiers, but it was as if the group of soldiers had 20 soldiers less in the group of 100 soldiers.

With Jack beginning his speech by saying this statement the soldiers cheered and shouted in agreement with what Jack said, who still doubted whether it was possible to win did not doubt Jack's confidence anymore.

Jack no longer knew what he could say to the soldiers to motivate them for the fight the other day, just as he said the victory was almost guaranteed and what was left was to know how many soldiers would survive at the end of the fight.

So in this final fight, each soldier had to face 2 enemies, in addition, the enemies were poisoned which made the fight easier, most soldiers have faced worse situations than this.
In this fight, the biggest problem was not the number of enemies, but the leaders of the group of thieves and some enemy warriors were as strong as they were, which had never happened before if they got tired of fighting the weakest thieves, then they could die.
Hector and the thieves could see the resolve and courage of the soldiers who were prepared to fight to the death, unlike the soldiers the thieves would flee if they could, they were poisoned and could not even rest properly because of the stress of this final fight.
The thieves were even more discouraged because they had not yet seen the strongest leaders and warriors fighting enemies, so the thieves already knew that they were being used only to tire opponents.
