The monkey beasts thought that they were healed as a payment for Hanu's life but Saena told them that is not the case. Adrian wanted to explain what will happen to Hanu if he does not extract the soul fragment of the monkey king but they are not that intelligent to know that. In fact, it would be strange if they know about the concept of souls and divine power.
