Chapter 338 - Your kingdom huh?

Aria sat upright ink her bed upon hearing the water jug fall. She looked around and picked it up and kept it back before the events of the night came back to her. "Guess one of them actually carried me back. I'll thank them tomorrow." she muttered as she rubbed her eyes and went towards the bathroom.

Outside Aria's room, Joseph tried to even his breath as he stood beside the closed door. "Guess I should be glad she was sleepy. Otherwise she would've definitely asked why I was lurking here." Joseph muttered as he made his way down the stairs to his own room.

Once inside, Joseph popped face - down on the bed without undressing.

"Do you know what the people of your kingdom call such people? Cowards!" Aria's words from that night ran inside his mind on a loop. "Your kingdom huh?" Joseph muttered as he turned on his side after a few minutes to stare out the window, "Guess all that's left is to find out which kingdom you actually came from."

A few days later. . . .

Aria sat deep in thought as she chewed on her pencil, staring at the sheet of paper in front of her. It was clear that she was deep in thought since she hadn't noticed a huge bug which was quite enjoying it's seat on Aria's head. "Ugghhhhh!" she let out a frustrated groan as she looked up from the sheet in her hands, very surprised when the bug on her head took flight with an accusatory glance in her direction.

"What was got you so filed up?" Aria turned her head in the direction of the voice to see Jacob trotting over to her with two sandwiches in his hand.

"What are you doing here? Don't you have class" Aria asked as she reached for one of the sandwiches as Jacob came near. Jacob slapped her hand away as he settled down in the grass beside her and said, "Nope. They're both for me. And I could also ask you the same question." "Pig." Aria muttered as she went back to her sheet, "I have something I really need to do before the next class. And what about you?"

"Didn't feel like going. And have you not completed your Earth bending homework yet? It's so good to see you lagging behind." Jacob muttered as he munched on a sandwich and sneaked a peek at the paper Aria was holding.

"It's not that . . . ." Aria muttered, tapping the pencil against her head. "You've still not filed the exam form for this month?!?!?" Jacob shouted in Aria's ear as he saw the paper in her hands. "You do know they assume that you're not giving any exams in the concerned month if you don't submit the form right?" he added, dodging the swat that Aria aimed at his head as punishment for shouting in her ear.

"I know I know." Aria said, "I just can't decide which subjects I want to take. I've got wind bending so far, because of course I can fly. And I'm definitely not taking the water power exam since it's a practical one and I don't think my body is ready for two practicals in one month."

Jacob nodded and asked, "So what's the issue."
