Another sword blocked the incoming strike, stopping the sword before it cut Vandir's head. It was another black sword, Zara's sword. She was the only one who managed to react to the attack.
"Thank you for the save, Lady Zara."
Vandir remained playful even though he almost got his head cut off. He was not worried about dying because he was a spirit.
Rayal Saint Claire glanced at Zara before focusing back at the Death King, "Why? Why are you protecting this plague? He must be killed before he can destroy more worlds. He must be killed before more people die."
Instead of continuing his attack, Rayal Saint Claire retreated, distancing himself from Vandir. That was when he started to assess the situation.
