A series of ancient trees, each more than a meter thick, collapsed one after another, the ground shook, and feeling the terrifying power from the beast, the players' hearts raced with fear.
However, after escaping a few hundred meters, the players noticed something was off...
Because after they fled beyond the cave's range, the beast didn't chase them.
The beast seemed not to have sustained interest, or perhaps... lacked the ability to pursue them relentlessly.
