Mrs. Ying replied, "I'm going back to my hotel. We've just finished shooting for a new movie, and I'll fly back tomorrow."
Ying Xuan: 'Where are you right now mom? And flying back? Are you coming home?'
Mrs. Ying laughed as she said, "I'm in LA at the moment dear, in the states. And no, I'm not coming home yet. I'm so sorry. I really thought I would! But some urgent photoshoots for one of the brands I'm the brand ambassador for came up. So I'll go back to London tomorrow to prepare for it." She laughed some more at the pout Xuan gave her and said, "I'll try if I can make it when you girls are home. Otherwise, I promise to definitely get some time off during your year end holidays."
Xuan talked with her mother for a few more minutes before Mrs. Ying asked, "Where's Xi, Xuan? Isn't she in your room? I have a missed call from her from a few minutes ago."
'She's right here.' Xuan typed as she walked over and handed the phone to Ying Xi, who took it with her signature scowl, but even her face lit up as she greeted her mother.
Xuan now understood why Ying Xi had looked so angry when she had come in. She had probably called mom and she hadn't picked up. And to add insult to injury, their mother had called Xuan's mobile. She thought all this as she walked into the bathroom, leaving Xi to peacefully chat with their mother.
When Xuan walked out a few minutes later, she found Ying Xi scrolling on her own mobile. She pointed to Xuan's bed in response to her gaze and said, "You received a text." Xuan walked over and saw that Shi Weiwei had answered. She was up and in her room.
Xuan rushed into her room and barged in without even bothering to knock. She knew that Feng'er wasn't there, and Weiwei wouldn't mind. 'Did you ask them? Did you talk to your parents?' Xuan signed, dispensing the greetings and coming straight to the point.
Weiwei nodded and said, "I did. They have no problem with you guys coming to the village. They even offered that you could stay at the house if you want, but. . ."
Xuan's heart beat quickened as Weiwei took a pause, a 'but' in a good sentence was never a good thing. "But, some of my relatives are home for a few days. So you guys can come after they leave. They should leave this week." Weiwei finished.
Ying Xuan heaved a sigh of relief and launched herself at Shi Weiwei. She hugged her till her breath was gone and signed, 'That's great news! I'll anyways have to go back home for a few days since my father has booked tickets. I can ask him once I'm home. The chances of him saying yes when I'm there are a lot better.'
Weiwei also squealed in excitement upon hearing this and the two group called the other two to tell them the news.
Lu Zuan was quite happy to hear that and she told them that she had already asked her parents, and they had agreed on the condition that she would spend some time with her grandparents.
