"My... survival?"
A silhouette of a dark-haired young woman with eyes the same shade of the purple motes of light around the chamber were reflected from two golden eyes.
The dungeon chamber was filled with these purple motes, lighting up the room.
"Yes," the phantom answered. "It's important that you learn of this sooner rather than later."
Victoria gave the silver-haired girl an unblinking stare, which the phantom doppelganger answered by turning towards the portal.
"I'm not sure where you came from, but that's neither here nor there. This is a whole different world," she began, her tone soft and her posture relaxed, a contrast to the urgency of what she was speaking about. "We're inside a dungeon right now; I'm pretty sure you've already figured that much out."
"That's right," Victoria replied with a sigh. The final nail in the coffin was her seeing her current system status.
