( Miyabi's POV )
When Rei activated her armor, she threw her spear like a bullet, the Hydra agent moved strangely, as if he had no vertebrae, like a leaf in the air, and he let Rei's spear just pass by.
That was a strange and perplexing technique, but Rei wasn't bothered by it; she appeared next to the Hydra agent with an instantaneous movement and delivered a powerful punch.
The agent's body hit the ground and bounced several times, only stopping when he hit the wall. Rei went to retrieve her spear and then continued her assault.
Rei used quick thrusts, but the enemy's strange evasive maneuvers proved effective, but Rei didn't let that affect her, she analyzed the enemy's movements and slowly she was able to land a few blows, but none of them were fatal.
The enemy, on the other hand, seemed to know that his chances of winning would only decrease the longer the situation persisted, and he decided to retreat, Rei again threw her spear at the escaping agent, and he dodged it by contorting his body into the shape of a C, but this time things ended differently, a whirlwind of red wind formed at the tip of the spear, and the enemy was caught in it, one of the agent's arms was torn to pieces, and although he was bleeding profusely, he continued his escape.
Rei went after him, but a wall of Hydra agents appeared to stop her, although they managed to delay her for a few seconds, sfter passing through that human wall, she stopped, somewhat confused that the Hydra agent had stopped.
After drinking a strange potion, he began to laugh as if he had already won. Rei just stared, waiting for him to finish his act.
The captain of the Ganesha family did not share our calm tough, she mounted on her Wyvern, and she went after the enemy, but she was pushed back when a pillar of energy erupted from the agent, and his power wasn't the only thing that was increasing.
The Hydra agent began to grow physically and his clothes began to burst, with his chest exposed I noticed that he had a strange implant where his heart should have been, It seems they had taken one of the pages from Yuuki's book, but the results were not the cleanest.
The agent had gained power and the body of a giant, but he lost much of his mind.
*GROWWWWWLLLLLLLL*
The agent was now a monster who began to pound the ground to crush Rei, but most of his blows were violent swipes that weren't even aimed at Rei, the coliseum was the one receiving the most damage.
I ran around the coliseum collecting the adventurers who couldn't move and I put them in the stands where it was safe.
Seeing the enemy's drastic change, Rei clicked her tongue and walked in the opposite direction. That giant wasn't the best match for Rei, I am sure that she could defeat the giant, but that would take time, and that is something we don't have in abundance at the moment.
I drew my colossal halberd and began walking forward. Rei undid her armor and as she passed by me she gave me a high-five as if this were a relay battle.
The transformed agent let out another roar and tried to push me out of the way with his palm, he had marked Rei as his enemy and only saw me as a nuisance, but when his hand reached for me, I cut that off with a swing of my halberd.
The monster's swing went wide, and the creature looked at its severed hand in confusion, The monster didn't seem to be able to feel pain, but it certainly could feel anger, he monster let out another roar and threw a punch at me.
I threw my halberd and it spun in the air, slicing the giant's arm lengthwise like a wooden plank passing through a saw, then I called upon my fighting spirit, That was our aura taking a semi-physical form; Saeko's spirit took the form of a soul-blinding creature, but mine was a one-horned giant carrying a warhammer, when the spirit materialized, a simple swing was all it took to crush the enemy's damaged body.
I sighed when the battle ended and turned around; at that moment I saw that everyone except Rei was staring at me in amazement, I didn't pay much attention to that; I was more focused on the fact that at some point Ryuu appeared in the stands of the coliseum.
She should be with Yuuki, and when I saw her alone, I rushed over to question her.
Miyabi: Where's Yuuki? Did something happen?
Ryuu: We came across a group of Amazons and he told me to go ahead of him.
I let out a sigh of relief when I heard what Ryuu said; he was probably planning something, but he'll be fine.
Rei: Well, I don't think he'll be passing through here; those other pillars of energy are probably taking his attention.
Ryuu: So, will there be a change of plans?
Rei: I'll stay here, you guys go check with the others, one of the pillars I appeared in the direction where Haruhime is.
I made a deal with Rei and I left the coliseum. Ryuu followed behind me, and while we were jumping around the city, I noticed that she was looking at me with curiosity, It seemed that something had piqued her curiosity, but she keep that to herself at the moment; this wasn't the right time, I suppose.
The place where Haruhime was, was the house of her friend Mikoto's family, and as we were approaching we could already hear the sounds of battle.
