At some point, Cattaleya turned to Elyon.
"We need something to do," she said.
Elyon looked at her calmly.
"What do you suggest?"
Cattaleya thought for a moment.
Then pointed outside.
"Let's find shapes."
Elyon raised a brow slightly.
"Shapes?"
"In the asteroids," she clarified. "That one looks like a beast. That one looks like a sword."
Elyon followed her gaze.
And after a brief pause he agreed.
And so they began.
They spent hours identifying shapes among the drifting rocks. Some resembled creatures. Others looked like objects. Occasionally, they would argue over interpretations, each insisting their view was more accurate.
It was simple.
But it passed the time.
Eventually, even that grew tiresome.
They tried games next.
Chess.
Xianqi.
Weiqi.
Elyon was patient, methodical, and precise. His moves were calculated, his strategies well thought out.
Cattaleya… Was not as interested.
"This is too slow," she said after a few rounds.
She lost interest quickly.
