(General POV)
A few weeks had passed since the raid on Mary Geoise, and things were actually going quite well for Jack and The Order. The Marines had yet to try and retaliate, something which Jack, Dragon, and all of their informants were keeping an eye out for, but as it stood, the Marines were simply trying to deal with the chaos that had come from the attack itself.
So far more than twenty kingdoms had left the World Government and were now flying the flag of The Order, and still the Marines could do nothing about it. Pirates were more bold than ever before, and with the bounties on the Marines themselves, they were targeted more than anyone, by Luke especially.
Luke made it a point to venture off frequently into the Grand Line, killing both pirates and Marines alike, though mostly he targeted Marines. Killing the Celestial Dragons at Mary Geoise must have been therapeutic for Luke, given how after the whole thing he was rather tame compared to before, and he was smiling a lot more as well, something which everyone took notice of, and it was because of this that a certain orange-haired navigator felt it was the right time to call in a certain favor.
It was just after lunch and everyone was talking amongst themselves when Nami slid the golden medallion across the table towards Luke. "The favor?" Luke asked. "I want my Devil Fruit. Go get it." Nami said, actually earning a slight smile from Luke. He had been itching to kill Tesoro for months now, ever since Jack had told him about him and the casino he ran, but with everything else that had been going on, they had kind of pushed the man further down the list. However, with Nami calling in her favor, his name just moved to the top of Luke's list. Of course he would need Jack's help to locate the man, but it shouldn't take more than a day or two to figure that out.
"I'll have it for you by the end of the week." Luke promised, and Nami couldn't help but be a little excited. She had been looking forward to getting her hands on the Devil Fruit for months now, and now she was finally going to get it. "I'm calling in my favor too!" Tashigi suddenly spoke up from the far end of the table, then like Nami, she too slid her medallion across the table.
"I want your swords." Tashigi said smugly. Everyone knew her goal was to collect all of the legendary swords, however she didn't believe in taking them from people she thought were worthy to carry them, namely good people, and to her, Luke did not meet the criteria to have one of the legendary blades. It was no secret that neither of them liked each other, so doing this was more to put Luke down a peg, however petty that might seem.
Beside Luke, Jack was just about to raise his glass of water to take a drink when suddenly he saw something that made his eyes widen, and rather than let it come to pass, he moved to stand in between Tashigi and Luke. "You either choose something else, or you walk out that door right now." Jack told her, earning a number of reactions from those in the room.
For his part, Luke merely tilted his head slightly to the side with a half-smile on his face, not against the idea of giving her his swords. Across the table from him, Smoker looked a little tense, if for no other reason than the fact that Jack seemed on edge, but also because Luke's smile did not reach his eyes. He could also practically feel the bloodlust oozing off of him, which did not bode well.
"Why should I have to-!" Tashigi began, but stopped when Smoker suddenly got to his feet. "Listen to him, Tashigi. He's trying to save your life." Smoker said coldly, his words doing the trick of drawing all eyes to Luke, who was still smiling. "What do you mean?" Tashigi asked, calmer this time.
"What he means is, Luke was going to give you his swords, which would have fulfilled the favor he owed you, but then he was going to kill you and take them back. I saw him holding your heart as he watched you die." Jack informed her and everyone around the room, causing a number of them to pale.
It was no secret that Luke disliked Tashigi, but even she didn't believe he hated her enough to actually kill her, however what she and everyone else failed to realize was that he only left her alive because Jack wouldn't let him kill her. Smoker too for that matter, even if he did like the man a lot more than when they had first met, the man had still once been a Marine, and Luke did not forgive so easily.
Hearing Jack's words, everyone looked to Luke, hoping that maybe he would say that Jack was joking, however he simply continued to smile like before, only now he was holding out his swords towards Tashigi, almost daring her to take them. "I- I don't want them anymore. You can take them back." Tashigi said shakily, only now realizing how close she came to dying.
"Are you sure? They are yours." Luke pressed again, however Tashigi downright insisted that he take them back. Stowing his swords away, Luke also reached down and grabbed the medallion Tashigi had slid across the table, then before her and everyone else, he crushed it in the palm of his hand, warping it with lightning so it was no longer the medallion it once was.
Luke had technically given her the swords, and Tashigi had gifted them back to him, which meant the contract was fulfilled, thus the medallion was null and void now. If she wanted to protest against Luke for what he had done, Tashigi certainly didn't show it, instead she bit her tongue, deciding that a snide remark was not worth her life. "Well then, I had best start planning how to find Tesoro." Luke said calmly, then he left the room without sparing anyone another glance.
*****
"I didn't kill her." Luke told Jack later that evening after Jack had come to talk to him about what happened earlier that day. "But you were going to. We had a deal, and killing our allies was in no way part of it!" Jack said, almost shouting at Luke before he let out a deep sigh of frustration.
"You can't keep this up. Haedrig has told me multiple times that the Sentinels who were once Marines are terrified to even be in the same room as you, and that's not good for morale or even humane. They shouldn't have to worry that you might suddenly rip out their hearts or cut their heads off." Jack explained, hoping to somehow miraculously get through to him.
"I'm sorry I was going to kill Tashigi, but even you have to admit she's a cunt. As for everyone else, I pretend like they don't even exist, so I don't know why they think I'm going to kill them. Granted, I would if you said I could, but you said I couldn't, so I won't." Luke said, trying to put Jack's mind at ease, however he was doing a rather poor job of it.
"You're becoming more than a little inhumane. I think you need to talk to someone." Jack said, knowing it needed to be said. "I talk to you. We drink, we laugh, and all in all, we settle our problems. So even though I might be a little dark, I still know what's right and wrong. Have a little faith in me." Luke said, and Jack felt there wasn't much else to say. If he tried to push Luke into therapy or something else then it might make him worse. Besides, he wasn't sure anyone else could help Luke the way he could.
They did talk to each other, and they had each other's backs as well. Plus Luke was actually getting better the more he watched over Selene, who had become a surrogate child or sister to Luke. He trained her more than even Jack did, and more often than not she would be with Luke whenever he did anything besides killing. It was funny how something that wasn't even human was actually keeping Luke from falling off the deep end and losing what little humanity he had left.
"Just promise me you'll reign it in around the former Marines, okay?" Jack finally said, deciding to do as was asked of him and put his faith in Luke. "I promise, now will you please help me find Tesoro?" Luke said, changing the subject as soon as an opportunity presented itself.
"Fine, but I'm not even a hundred percent sure on how to find him. His casino is actually more akin to Thriller Bark, like it's a stupidly large ship that's being pulled by two massive sea turtles so it's always on the move. The only way I know of to find it is by getting an invitation, which contains a piece of Tesoro's Vivre Card." Jack explained. This was one of the reasons he hadn't already gone after Tesoro, because even he couldn't buy pieces of someone's Vivre Card from the [STORE], which was a first for him.
"So how do we find him?" Luke asked. "Other than somehow miraculously stumbling across it, we need to find someone who has a piece of Tesoro's Vivre Card. Given how ordinary people are trapped there, we need to find someone really rich and influential that might possibly frequent the place. Again, I don't know anyone like that, but I think I know someone else who might know. At the very least she might be able to help find someone who has it, if she's not able to outright find Gran Tesoro itself." Jack said, referring to a certain princess who had a certain Devil Fruit power.
Explaining all about the princess and her power, Luke became rather intrigued, feeling as if he himself could put such a power to great use, especially where it concerned the Marines. "And the best part, I know exactly where she is." Jack informed Luke, getting a grin as this meant they were finally moving forward to him completing his task. The two of them went over everything in finer detail, and Jack knew that he would most likely need to be a part of this in order for it to work, but it didn't matter to him because he had made a deal with Sengoku to do this anyway.
Thinking of Sengoku, Jack realized that he owed the man another favor for helping him out with the whole Whitebeard situation, and though Sengoku said he'd call him when he needed help, Jack didn't like owing people anything, thus he decided that he had better get that sorted out as well. Plus it might allow him to get both Sengoku's and Garp's Vivre Cards along the way, and he still wanted to do that to make sure that neither of the old bastards would be able to hide from him in the future if he needed to track them down.
"I'll give you an Eternal Pose to Dressrosa, then while you're doing that, me and the others will head to Secon. I want to finish my business with Sengoku so I can wash my hands of him and Garp. Hell, since it's a resort, we might enjoy ourselves as well." Jack told Luke, who agreed with that plan. He didn't like the fact that Jack owed Sengoku anything, so this needed to be dealt with sooner than later. Plus he also wouldn't mind going to a resort. Hell, he might even take Perona if she wanted to go.
*****
Luke took off the following morning, choosing to just shoot across the sky instead of having Radek open a gate for him on Sabaody Archipelago, which was the closest island he had to the New World. Jack had already informed everyone the night prior of their trip, only there were a few more people coming with them than they normally would have taken.
For instance, Tedi, Lucian, Nemo, and Selene were all coming as they were now official members of Dark Phoenix, but so too were Soran, Apis, and Makino, who all wanted to go to a resort. Soran also wanted to go so she could collect the debt Whitebeard owed her, but she felt it was in her best interest to not tell anyone that.
"Is there any chance you can leave Radek behind this time? With how hectic things are at the moment, I'm not sure we can spare him for all that long. His power is completely invaluable to The Order, right now especially." Haedrig asked Jack on the morning of their departure. "Are you sure? We won't be able to get back here if he doesn't come with us. At least not until we get back to Sabaody Archipelago." Jack said, sounding a little hesitant.
He had become reliant on Radek's power over the last few months, and the semblance of peace it gave him to be able to come to the aid of his allies at a moment's notice was something he wasn't sure he could give up. "You can't keep holding our hands forever, and right now we've got a pretty firm foundation. With the new recruits from Mary Geoise and the support from our allies around the world, I think we can manage for a few weeks without you." Haedrig said, and though Jack wanted to tell him that he couldn't manage without them, he decided to bite back that remark.
"Fair enough. I'll have him open a Gate for us to Sabaody, then he's all yours. If the worst should come to pass, I'll head there and he can open a Gate for me." Jack agreed, regardless of whether he wanted to or not.
Their plans changed slightly after that, and before long Jack found himself and the others walking through a Gate into Shakky's Bar, only their welcoming wasn't one he expected. Immediately after stepping through the Gate he had to block a few projectiles, and it was then he realized where he had gone wrong.
"Shakky, it's me! Jack!" He called out so as to get her attention, which did the trick of halting the objects that were flying towards him with surprising strength and accuracy. "This is how friendly fire happens. You really should've called before suddenly appearing like that." Shakky chastised him, and Jack knew she was right. Had he called her or Rayleigh and told her they were coming, their welcoming would have been a whole lot different.
"You're absolutely right, and I'm sorry. We're just stopping by on our way to the New World, and this was the safest place to appear. At least it should have been." Jack said, getting a raised brow from the barkeeper. "What are you doing in the New World? I figured after that show you put on in the Holy City a few weeks ago, you'd be dealing with things a bit more close to home instead of going after the Four Emperors." Shakky said curiously, getting all the wrong ideas.
"We're not going to fight the Emperors or try to steal their territories. We're going to the resort on Secon for a few days of relaxation. With how chaotic things have been recently, we need a bit of a break." Jack told her, though he left out a few key details that she didn't really need to know.
"Wow… I never would have guessed that." Shakky admitted in surprise before a smile lit up her face. "I can't remember the last time I went to a resort like Secon." She added simply while leaning against the bar. "Then why not come with us? We're coming back here in a few weeks anyway, so we could always drop you off. You and Rayleigh should both come." Jack said, extending the invitation.
Shakky didn't have to think on it for very long before she accepted his invitation, however she told him Rayleigh was coating a ship at the moment and wouldn't be done for another four or five hours, which Jack assured her wasn't much of a problem. On the contrary, he decided to take Soran, Apis, Selene, and Makino to the amusement park, which would kill more than enough time for Rayleigh to get back and get prepared to leave.
Nami and Nojiko wanted to come with them, however everyone else opted to simply hang out at Shakky's Bar for a few hours. Tedi and Lucian didn't really want to go and mingle with the humans on the island, especially with the Holy City so close by, and Robin and Smoker just wanted to sit and hang out. As for Tashigi, she simply wanted to train in the yard behind the bar, which was her prerogative, even if it was boring.
*****
Six hours passed before they returned to the bar from the amusement park, and that was only because Jack had dragged the three youngest girls away from the rides, much to their protests. "Can we stop at the amusement park on our way back? I didn't even get to try that swirly ride that looked like giant teacups." Soran asked hopefully upon entering the bar.
"Now Soran, be thankful you got to go today. It was very thoughtful of Jack to bring us here." Makino told the little girl who at least had the decency to look slightly abashed. "We'll see, Soran." Jack told her, then he turned his attention to the room's occupants which now included Rayleigh. "So are you going to come with us?" Jack asked Rayleigh, who seemed more than happy enough to tag along with them.
Both he and Shakky had already packed while they were waiting on Jack, so all that was left was to load up onto the Black Pearl before they disembarked from Sabaody. "Hey, Jack? Did you happen to call Sengoku or Garp to let them know we were going to be stopping by Secon?" Smoker asked after stepping into the control room where Jack was sitting upon the large metal chair that he used to boost the ship's speed. "No." Jack easily admitted.
"Given what happened earlier with Shakky, and given the fact that Whitebeard might still be on Secon with Sengoku and Garp with all of his allies, don't you think it would be a good idea to call ahead and let them know we're coming so we don't run into the same problem as before?" Smoker said, making a very good point. He wasn't sure how they would react if a ship appeared out of nowhere flying above them, but he could see that it had a high possibility of not ending well. "I'll call them right now." Jack said, then grabbed his Transponder Snail.

(Garp POV)
"Would you calm the fuck down, Sengoku?!" Garp shouted quickly as he held two of Whitebeard's crew members up in front of him, using them as human shields, quite literally as he deflected a fancy vase with the face of the man he held in his left hand. "This is all YOUR fault, Garp!" Sengoku roared angrily as he moved to throw a fancy sitting chair at Garp.
"How was I supposed to know you ran out of money?" Garp said in defense as he used the human shield in his right hand to block the incoming chair. "Why in the hell were you even charging everything to me?!" Sengoku screamed, more than a little outraged.
Over the last few weeks, both Garp and Whitebeard had been charging all of their expenses at the resort to Sengoku's tab, which he didn't even know he had opened. Garp had forged his signature and filled in all of his information, and then he had so kindly invited Whitebeard to join him in racking up the tab.
Seeing as how there had been more than a thousand pirates moving in and out of Secon over the last few weeks thanks to Whitebeard, the tab had built up rather quickly, and now it was time to settle up the bill, at least if they wanted to keep staying there. According to the resort manager, if the bill wasn't paid within the next month, they would probably be forced to foreclose, something which Sengoku didn't want on his conscience, even if he wasn't the one responsible for this whole mess.
"I didn't have any money, that's why. With how much of a cheapskate you are, I figured you had a nice little nest-egg squirreled away somewhere on the ship." Garp admitted unashamedly. It was true, Sengoku did have a little bit of a nest-egg, but that was supposed to be his retirement. And even if he did use it to pay the bill, he was still more than a billion berries short of paying off the tab that was sitting pretty at $2.4 Billion berries.
As for getting the money out of Whitebeard, Sengoku had already tried, however what money the Emperor had was owed to Soran, and he wasn't about to hand it over just like that, even if he and his crew were responsible for the debt. They were pirates after all, and pirates hardly ever paid for anything.
Hearing Garp's words only made Sengoku more angry, which is when he grabbed the reception desk from the resort. "Oh come on! I have five-hundred thousand berries on the ship! Let me go get it, please!" The pirate Garp raised up into the air to block the desk begged, however neither Garp or Sengoku seemed to hear the man before the desk came crashing into him and shattered on impact. Besides breaking his arms and probably a few ribs, the man fell unconscious, which was lucky for him because Garp used the other guy to block the door Sengoku had thrown after the desk, putting that guy in a pretty bad state as well.
Thankfully for the two meat bags, Garp's Transponder Snail began to ring, which seemed to even give Sengoku pause because the projectiles stopped flying at them. "This is Garp speaking, what do you want?" Garp said lazily, almost as if he hadn't just been defending himself from Sengoku.
"Garp, this is Jack. I'm on my way to Secon, and will arrive sometime later tonight or tomorrow. If Whitebeard is there, be sure to warn him of my arrival so he doesn't do anything stupid by trying to attack me." Jack said, surprising both Garp and Sengoku. "Why are you coming here?" Garp asked curiously.
"Soran and Makino wanted to go to a resort, and after how hectic things have been lately I figured we'd go somewhere nice, and since I still needed to get a piece of both yours and Sengoku's Vivre Cards, I decided on Secon. Besides, being in the New World puts us out of the jurisdiction of the World Government, and right now I just don't have the patience to deal with them." Jack told him, which made sense.
"Jack, I might need to call in that favor you promised." Sengoku said, putting himself into the conversation. "Oh yeah, that was also something I wanted to deal with too. I'm glad you've already got something in mind." Jack said, sounding genuinely happy for some reason. "I need you to pay off my tab." Sengoku said, getting a short laugh from Jack. "I take it Garp somehow managed to rack the bill up pretty high, huh?" Jack asked, hitting the nail right on the head.
"Yeah, and now I don't want to pay for it." Sengoku said tiredly. "That sounds easy enough. I'll see to it as soon as I get there." Jack agreed easily enough, though both Sengoku and Garp knew he would probably have something to say about it when he found out how much it actually was. "Thanks, we'll see you when you get here." Sengoku said, then snatching the receiver from Garp, he ended the call.
Ignoring Garp, Sengoku moved to where the resort manager and a number of staff members were standing near the far end of the lobby, then addressed the manager. "The money for my bill will be here by tomorrow. Add the cost for all of the things I broke to it, and the repair costs for that wall and those two doors. And since I don't know how this is going to go over, you may as well add a twenty percent tip for yourselves." Sengoku said, then turned to go and enjoy some of the more expensive things the resort offered. Since he figured this was probably going to be his last night here, he figured he may as well enjoy himself.
Seeing Sengoku leave, Garp figured he may as well go and tell Whitebeard about Jack's imminent arrival. On the way to the harbor, Garp got an idea, and after thinking about how best to phrase everything, he decided to go through with it. Once he arrived on Whitebeard's ship, instead of immediately telling him about Jack, he broached the subject of Whitebeard's debt to Soran.
"Since she lives all the way in the East Blue, I can take it to her, for a small fee of course." Garp suggested to Whitebeard, who looked a little suspicious at the offer. "You're not trying to take this money to pay off anything at the resort, are you?" Whitebeard questioned. "Of course not. You have my word, I'll give it straight to Soran, which will clear your debt with her." Garp promised. "How much is this going to cost me?" Whitebeard asked.
"Five million berries, and you have my word that nothing will happen to the money before it reaches Soran." Garp said, getting a thoughtful look from Whitebeard. It was a decent bit of money just to deliver a payment, but should anything go wrong with the payment and someone stole it, Whitebeard would have to scrounge up another three-hundred million, something which he was loathed to do again, and since no one else would be stupid enough to attack Garp for the money, Whitebeard figured it wasn't all that bad of a deal. "Fine. Five million it is." Whitebeard agreed, then got Thatch to go down below deck and arrange everything.
It took only ten minutes before Garp was holding a large duffle-bag with the three-hundred million berries in it, and another much smaller bag with his five-million delivery fee in it. "Oh, before I forget, a flying ship is going to be coming to the island sometime tonight or tomorrow. They're friends of mine, so I'd appreciate it if you and your allies didn't attack them, otherwise that might cause a big mess for everyone." Garp said, then left Whitebeard's ship with a smile on his face.

(General POV)
It took the rest of the day and night before the needle on the Eternal Pose to Secon began pointing downwards, which meant they were very near to their location, so Jack stopped channeling his power and slowed the ship, then went to inform the others of their arrival. "Can we not go so fast on the way back? I'm feeling a little queasy." Makino asked slowly while looking a little green in the face.
And it wasn't just her, as Apis and Selene looked to share her thoughts on their mode of transport, or at the very least at the speed in which they moved. Soran on the other hand didn't look phased in the slightest, which was kind of expected given how she flew almost everywhere, though not quite as fast as they had gone on this trip.
"We'll take it easy next time." Jack promised as the ship slowly descended towards the harbor, which was filled with about fifty ships, most of which were pirate ships. "Are we going to kill them?" Selene asked curiously in a tone that did not fit the question. 'She's been hanging out with Luke a little too much.' Jack told himself, and judging by the looks he got from everyone else, they were thinking the same thing.
"Don't be silly, Selene. These guys are part of Whitebeard's crew, and he's not so bad. He is a snitch, but not a bad guy." Soran told her, which in turn earned her a look from Makino, however if she noticed it she certainly didn't show it. "Even though they're not terrible people, they're still pirates, so I want you three to stay close to Jack and the others, got it?" Makino said to Soran, Apis, and Selene, all of whom nodded in understanding.
"I can't tell you how much I've been looking forward to this." Nami said gleefully as she and everyone else began to disembark from the ship, where to their surprise, they found Garp waiting for them. He himself was momentarily surprised to see Rayleigh and Shakky disembark from the ship, but his surprise lasted only a second before he steeled himself and turned his full attention towards Makino, who greeted him as if he were her father.
"Hey, gramps. It's good to finally meet you in person." Soran greeted while in her small fairy form. "My goodness, you're adorable!" Garp said happily, none too surprised at her form given how they had talked about it a bit over the last few months.
They talked for a few minutes, and after Garp gave Soran a large duffle-bag and she stowed it away in her room on the ship, everyone made their way to the resort, though not before Jack put the Pearl into his [Inventory]. As untrusting as he was, there was no way he was going to leave his ship unguarded in a port full of pirates.
Upon entering the resort lobby, Jack couldn't help but notice something. "Wow, this place looks almost new." He commented, finding it to be a lot nicer than he was expecting. "Yeah, their repairmen are top of the line. Quick workers too." Garp said, complimenting people who indeed did fine work, though how he knew they were quick was a mystery to Jack. Said mystery was solved however upon telling the front desk that he was there to pay Sengoku's bill.
"Garp, why am I holding a bill for more than a thousand people?" Jack asked, however Garp was nowhere to be found. It seemed he had managed to slip away in the few minutes it took for Jack to get the bill, and now Jack couldn't help but feel as though he had been set up. Dismissing everyone else and telling them to go and enjoy themselves, Jack sat down with the manager and began to go over everything, and it was then he learned how all of the pirates and Garp and his crew had set Sengoku up to fail, which had caused a whole commotion the day before, hence the repairs listed on the bill.
They had also had to buy a few more pumps after some pirates got a little over zealous, not to mention that some of the rooms had to be completely refurbished because of the pirates as well. More than a few of the resort beds had simply vanished in the night, and of course the pirates denied anything to do with it, however the manager knew better.
"Are there still pirates here in the resort charging to this bill?" Jack asked, to which the manager nodded sadly. "Come with me. I want you to show me where every person is who is adding to this bill." Jack told the manager, who was quick to guide him around the resort and point people out, all of whom disappeared into a film of darkness until only Sengoku remained. When Jack found him, the two merely stared at one another, neither saying anything, though it took great effort on Jack's part to not punch the spectacled buddha in the face.
"Three Billion… You think I'm paying three billion berries for a favor?" Jack finally asked the man, who merely shrugged at him. "Your tab is cancelled, and any further expenses from here on out are your own to bear. The manager has also agreed to make it so people now need to have proof of identification before starting a tab, so this shouldn't happen again. You will also hand over a piece of your Vivre Card before I pay the bill, and should you ever go against me in the future, you will forfeit your life. Are we clear?" Jack said firmly, and Sengoku could see it in his eyes, he was dead serious. "I understand." Sengoku agreed, then the two of them moved to complete the transaction.
Only after getting a piece of Sengoku's Vivre Card did Jack hand over the money to the resort manager, who then signed off that the bill was complete. He had even gone so far as to thank Jack with tears in his eyes, having feared that this was going to be the end of them. He was so thankful in fact, that Jack's group got the VIP treatment, which was a rather nice upgrade compared to what people normally got. Jack however did not partake of the resort just yet, instead he made his way back to the harbor to where the pirates were.
Upon boarding the largest ship, The Moby Dick, Jack noticed Whitebeard was talking with Garp. As soon as everyone saw him, all talk came to a grinding halt, and everyone simply stared dumbly at him. Without taking his eyes off of Whitebeard, Jack moved over to the edge of the ship, then made an orb of darkness appear from his hand.
Everyone watched, gobsmacked as more than a hundred of their fellow crewmembers and allies came pouring out of the inky black darkness and went splashing into the water down below. "Unless you can pay, your time at the resort has been, by thine own hand, revoked." Jack told them all, and thankfully none of them were stupid to try and question him on it.
"That's a shame." A voice called out, and as one, everyone looked up to the origin of said voice, and that's when Jack saw Luke leaning over the basket of the crows-nest with his gun pointed straight at Whitebeard. He had apparently hoped for something exciting to happen, but with Jack merely dumping the pirates into the water, he was left disappointed.
