Tobao watched him disappear toward the entrance before letting out a disappointed sigh.
"Is that so..." He slowly turned away. "Let's go, Arcis."
"Uh?!" Arcis stared at him in disbelief. "You're just letting him leave like that?"
Tobao nodded. "He was right about one thing. We don't really possess enough strength to kill him. In fact, considering the difference in cultivation, there's a very real possibility he'd be the one walking away alive if we fought to the death."
His expression remained surprisingly calm. "If he's willing to destroy the future of his own Region for one last opportunity, then so be it."
Then, a faint smile appeared on Tobao's face. "Besides... that sealed box is extremely secure. I'm rather curious whether he'll manage to open it without triggering the Spatial Storage Self-Destruction."
Xigazou chuckled. "A smart decision, and don't worry. I'll definitely manage to open it, even if it takes a little time."
