Rean shrugged. "He definitely looked conflicted. I guess he didn't know whether to reject us outright or ask someone above him first."
Roan kept doing whatever he was doing, not paying much attention to the matter anymore. "Just sit and wait. We will find out soon enough. If the request reached Headquarters, someone will contact us before long."
