Now, the remaining humans who survived that deadly experiment call the creatures born from it "The Abominations."
These monstrous beings roam the world—Weepers, Bloaters, Toxic Abominations, and Fast Biters. Each one is capable of infecting humans and turning them into abominations themselves.
This story follows Brook and his friends as they search for his missing parents—and for a cure to save what remains of humanity.
But the real question is…
Was the experiment truly a mistake?
Or was it something far more intentional?

I abandoned my last name the day my parents went M.I.A.
My parents were highly respected scientists. Five years ago, they went to the lab searching for answers… and they never came back.
I was only 14 years old when they left.
5 YEARS AGO
Dad: We're just going to find a cure for this world so it can be safe again. Don't worry, kiddo. We'll only be gone for six months.
Mom & Dad: We love you so much, Brook. We'll be back before you know it.
Mom: Sera, please… stay by Brook's side no matter what.
Sera: Of course, aunty. I'll always stay by this dimwit's side.
PRESENT DAY
Brook: Sera has always been by my side ever since we were kids.
She was always… well, a little more manly than I was.
Always trying to protect me. Always treating me like I was still a kid.
But even with all of that… I somehow fell in love with her.
She kept me sane after my parents left.
She's the only person I have left.
And I can't lose her.
Our parents were close, and we grew up like family… like best friends.
Sera: Brook. Brook. Brook. Wake up, you ass.
Brook: Huh? Oh… I guess I fell asleep.
Sera: Yeah, no kidding. You were mumbling like you were narrating your whole life story or something.
Brook: I was actually dreaming about that day.
Sera: Today makes five years… doesn't it?
Brook: Yeah. It does.
Sera: I'm sure we'll find them. Your parents were strong… and they were the best at what they did.
Brook: Yeah… well, until I see them again, I won't carry their surname.
I'll go by Brook… The Stray Noble.
Sera: People have actually been calling you that lately.
Oh—and I almost forgot. Rick was looking for you.
And he looked pretty pissed.
Did you sleep with his daughter again?
Brook: Shit… I totally forgot.
I slept with his niece, left before she woke up, and ignored her after.
He's definitely going to kill me.
Sera: Disgusting.
SERA SLAPS BROOK AND STORMS AWAY
Brook: Jeez… she still hits harder than anyone I know.
A mysterious man and a girl approach
Man: So… you must be the famous Stray Noble.
Brook: Ahhh… now what do I owe the pleasure of a visit from someone like you, Your Highness?
Girl: Show some respect, you disappointment.
You damn asshole.
Prince Henry VII is next in line for the throne.
Henry: Enough, Selena. We're here for a reason.
Selena: My apologies, Your Highness.
Henry: Stop with the formality. We're outside the castle.
Just call me Henry.
Selena: But, Prince—
Henry: Enough.
Brook the Stray Noble… or should I say…

Brook: Just Brook is fine, Your Highness.
