The outcome of Averoth's target had stunned many members of Last Lights. Under normal circumstance anyone would target the healer first. However, Averoth seemed to thoroughly enjoy the fight. Perhaps it was a way of subtly adjusting their mentality so he could take advantage of the gaps.
Akiol grit his teeth, it was clear protecting the other members wasn't working. It was starting to take its toll on his concentration. Moreover, his inexperience in using the might of {Way of the Universe} in a team battle was evident.
If it had just been himself he might've fared better! However he not once thought of this, rather he simply understood it was his own inability and would reflect upon this later!

Dashing forth with a burst of Aura Akiol clashed directly with Averoth. His forearms so tough they created sparks of mana and Aura in response. With a grin Averoth parried his sword and punched towards Akiol.
