While Torch was dealing with his VIP guests, two members of Last Lights were not present for the announcement.
The first was Gear.
He spent a majority of his time in Torch's underground base. He was made quite aware of the insane amount of work Torch was putting in for the past week. He was also familiar with the Airship.
Metal against metal ground into sparks as Gear smashed his fist through a training bot.
As Torch deemed a lot of his older model now obsolete, Gear was given unrestricted access to scrap them. The left over parts would be recycled and reprocessed automatically. So Gear was training relentlessly with the Overgear armor suit.
It was certainly a miracle worker. Gear found himself realizing answers to certain attacks that would normally stump him. He was no longer freezing when indecisive, his body was moving more smoothly in response to his actions.
