There comes a time where you must question your circumstances.
Gear sat in a waiting chair at the hospital and was currently having this moment.
Sunny Jade's dream was lackluster. The hospital was mostly feature complete. The white hallways, the blinding lights, and that constant beep measuring her heart rate.
There was a significant lack of people however. No doctors or nurses walking the halls. No patients in the waiting rooms. All the rooms aside from Sunny Jade's were blurry and incomplete. The fact that the hallway even had features could be considered a miracle.
As for the dreamer herself, Sunny Jade lay in the hospital bed unmoving.
No visitors, no nurses to check on her.

Gear sat on the nearby chair and leaned back, "Must suck Jade."
Jade's dream wasn't really a dream. She was the kind of person who didn't dream. Those who fell asleep and woke up several hours later. Sleep is just a blot in their memory, no made up visions to accompany them.
