Jarvis was playing a song with a grass whistle. It attracted a number of creatures who were sitting around him.
Gear did not find this song familiar. The sound this grass whistle made was very distinct. It was likely a special plant from their homeworld.
The moon remained in the sky, holding that purple hue to it. Visible even through the thick tree leaves. Almost impossible to miss.
Hopefully this wasn't the case of Jarvis wanting to remain in the dream.
Leaning against a tree Gear watched Jarvis closely. When the song ended Jarvis handed out various bits of food to the creatures. One small bird remained on his head during the whole process.
Once the last of the food was eaten Jarvis carried the small bird on his finger and whistled his way deeper into the forest. The creatures followed him.
