Quinn's family wasn't the best, she was not really liked by her parents because her brother and sister showed more results than Quinn. So Quinn to take her mind off the depressing life she had played video games, in her eyes video games were like a new life and she could experience things that would've never happened in the world she lived in.
Quinn was leaving for school when her siblings found out that she had been playing a game that they didn't start yet. The two siblings didn't like being worse than her since she wasn't really good at anything. The reason that they were mad was because since she started the game before them she would be a higher level in the game since the game was a fantasy game called Mantolia Online. Quinn loved the game and had been playing for a year so when she heard that her siblings had figured it out she turned pale. The reason she turned pale was because they probably would make her delete the character she had been playing with.
Quinn immediately started running towards her school with her laptop in her backpack with the game on it. When she looked back she saw them chasing after her yelling " COME BACK HER YOU WIMP" but that just made her run faster. Her siblings were a year older than her so they still went to the same school since she was still in her freshman year of highschool. Her life at school was pretty depressing as well since the whole school deemed her as a lonely person. She sighed with relief when she reached her classroom since no one really talked to her so she never got bullied.
When she got home she immediately went into her room and locked the door. She was tired of this lifestyle and really wanted a new one. When she opened her laptop she immediately realized that her internet was gone so she could play or get online and was angered by this. She thought about going to a Internet cafe but she the heard knocking on the door and after a voice coming from her uncaring parents saying she was grounded. So she just went to sleep because she knew it would turn bad if she retaliated against them.
When she woke up she saw an unfamiliar roof and immediately got up. She realized that it had looked like her room if it was built in a fantasy world. She then got blasted by memories and information of where she was. It turned out that mantolia online and her old world had combined in a weird way! She then thought of saying menu and a menu appeared in front of her. She then started to look through her mind and found that she was being abandoned by her parents because she was weak in this world as well. Quinn was a person who didn't like the thought of revenge especially to her parents because although the treatment she got she still was given food, clothes, and shelter.
The door to her room opened and Quinn just gave a look of disgust when the people who opened the door were her siblings. She was not really being abandoned though it was very similar she would be stripped of her family name which in this world her family were wealthy nobles. Although she was still going to go to the same academy as her siblings. In this world her age was younger so she and her siblings still had been to the magic academy of Ecta. Ecta was the name of the city they were in. Since Quinn knew all about the events and other thing that happened in the game she felt confident. Mantolia Online was a online RPG game which occasionally had events in the game such as tournaments and special areas that you could get special skills. The game never really had a ending so many people who had played a long time were high level guild masters. Quinn had not played the game for that long so her character in the game only had a high rank in a guild.
Quinn had wondered why the siblings, named Tory and Emily, Had come into her room. Then Tory immediately said " Hey wimp clean our room for us" Quinn scoffed at them saying "ask the maids to do that not me" Emily replied saying " mom and dad said that we can't rely on the maid to do it for us"," well that's not my problem then clean your rooms yourself for once, your not gonna be in there in 2 months!" Quinn yelled. After saying that the sibling immediately left and tried to find someone else to do their job. Quinn thought to herself " I should find a way to get stronger in secret" quickly after a screen that was not the menu appeared. It was like a manual to get stronger, "but the methods used in the manual wouldn't have worked in the video game?" Quinn thought.
