Tower.
Luke is in rage. All the papers from his table are all scattered over the floor. The other guards are picking them up one by one. He rested his hands on his waist and trying to calm himself down.
"Are you sure?". He is heaving and sharply looked at Rhodee. One of the warriors he brought to his home and had dinner with him and Selena.
"Yes Alpha, Alpha Gavin of Crystal Moon Pack chased after Miss Selena and they ended up in the training field and I heard him call Miss Selena his mate".
Rhodee was the warrior assigned to the representative of Crystal Moon Pack. He was guiding them to their guest house when Gavin, Alpha of the Crystal Moon suddenly went missing. He and Gavin's Beta tried to look for him and found him with Selena on his hand. Rhodee also saw Selena pushing him away but in split second Selena vanished.
"My mate is chased by the other Alpha... Damn!". Luke's fist end up to his table and it split to two. His blue eyes turned midnight black and his aura gives a deadly cold ambiance. He is very jealous and very angry.
"I think you need a new table". Drew calmly said. Although he is also affected by the chill his Alpha is releasing he can fight it off not like the other warriors lower than his rank he can see sweats and tensions on their faces.
Luke just took a glance at his poor table and sigh deeply.
"You said my Mate disappeared". He asked Rhodee again.
"Yes Alpha, in a split second after Beta Jake of Crystal Moon and I came. Beta Jake even thought Miss Selena was a ghost". Rhodee knows he must not skip even a single detail of his report specially if Selena is involved. He knows how his Alpha loved the supposed to be Shadow Claw's Luna. He can see a glint of hope in his eyes. He is not giving up.
"Don't tell anyone what you saw and keep an eye of those brats from Crystal Moon Pack. Inform me if they bump to my Mate again!". Luke made a clear order. He won't allow any male to have claim on his Mate.
Rhodee knows his report is done and now accepts the new order. He bid his Alpha goodbye.
"Why did I let my mother talked me in to this!". He sat down and feel exhausted. He hasn't begin any work yet but he feels like his energy are all drained. Only a single report about Selena his world almost collapse.
"At least she regain her strength and went out". Drew wants him to see a brighter side of the situation.
Luke's eyes landed sharply on his Beta. He hates to admit it but he is right. He'd rather have the fighter Selena than the dying one. Besides from his warrior's report his Mate did not submit herself to the newly Alpha Gavin. She run away from him. His mouth made a curved upward. "My Mate is still adorable". He murmured.
Pack house.
"Selena!".
Selena was startled and froze for a moment. She remembered who owns the voice.
"Mark?". She was so shocked to see him. "Oh thank God you're alright, how's the other three rascals?".
Mark's forehead wrinkled. "Other three rascals?.... Wait you didn't actually go running around and call us like that in front of other people, do you?". He has a grimaced look on his face.
"Of course not why would I do that, haha". Selena bit her lips. She just like to call them like that but for her own enjoyment she can't believed she will actually blurted those words on his face. "By the way, how did you find me?".
Mark look down on his side.
"Luna?".
"Rice!". She sat down to her height and hug her. "Oh I miss you!".
"Luna I thought I will never see you again". She said with a sad and innocent voice. Her tears falls like rain.
"I'm sorry if I worry you so much, don't cry I'm still here". Selena wiped away her tears with her thumb. Rice's face is so small she thinks it fits perfect on her one small palm.
"They said you have no wolf and they will throw you away far from the Village". Rice hugs tightly on Selena's nape. "Your wolf is just a sleep right she is just lazy to get up like me in the morning". She said innocently.
Selena was dumbfounded. Rice's words made her recall a dream now. There was a beautiful and magnificent white wolf who looks magical in her eyes. She calls herself the THE FIRST BORN but she don't understand what she meant. She also remembered what she told her. To be patient and wait for her because she was still weak.
"Yes you're right she's still asleep, but don't tell anyone okay?". She whispered in Rice ear. She felt her nod.
Selena carried Rice and sat down on a long chair. "So you know each other?". She was looking at Mark now.
"Not really. Rice is known here in the Village as". He paused, he don't want to say harsh words to describe the little child. Specially now that Selena seems to be very caring towards Rice. "As a very timid and silent child. Everyone thought she was a mute until recently after she called the Alpha handsome".
"Yeah I kind a remember that". She said recalling also what happened after.
"Anyway she came to our house and asked my mother to sell her a piece of strawberry cupcake. She said she will give it to you so you will stop crying". Mark showed Selena the small box he was crying.
"And I was wondering where did that smell come from". She took the box and opened it. Her eyes grew big. It's been so long since she had a bite of her favorite food. "How did you know it's my favorite?". She asked Rice then gave her a big hug.
"You always smell sweet like strawberry and I really love your scent". Rice said smiling.
"Oh you are so cute, my little flower bud". She slightly pinched her rosy cheeks and Rice giggles.
Mark cleared his throat. He feels out of place. "Hey, I'm the one who brought her here and the cupcake came from my mom". He look away after saying those words.
"I know and thank you very much Mark... I miss you and also the three others. Thank you for recovering quickly". She said with a hint of sadness but a lot of gratefulness.
"I think we should be the one thanking you. You save us". Mark said sincerely. His brother Dusk told him everything but made him swear not to tell anyone. It was an Alpha's order to protect Selena until the mating complete. But he also found out that Selena didn't turn that night and she haven't mark Alpha Luke yet. It saddens them.
"No it's actually my mother who save you. It's her medicine anyway". She don't want to take all the benefits. Erin played a great part on curing them.
"Then I will thank her someday".
"Oh yeah and tell her your the wolf we experimented the medicine on".
Mark scratched his head. Selena's mother have no Idea what they are. "Then just thank her on our behalf".
