Aila sensed the sudden change in Yhuan's demeanor. It is as if he was back in the same Yhuan she's broken up with. It's then when she realized that he was just putting up an act for her, to appear strong and renewed when in reality it is the same Yhuan, wanting her, desperate for her.
"If you are implying that I cheated on you, then as I've told you before; I did not."
Aila was confident with her answer because it was the absolute truth. Marcus was looking at her as if asking her if she is okay.
"Ah, no, not at all, you did not cheat on me Aila, but you broke up with me so you can be with him freely."
Yhuan answered Aila with an obvious hurt in his eyes.
"What a bunch of nonsense, we haven't even met each other when you and Aila broke up, so how could it be about me?"
Marcus interfered in their conversation, Aila held his face affectionately to calm him down. Yhuan saw how the two of them are freely expressing their intimacy with each other; it broke his heart further.
