I was ready to strike as the Shadowy figures got closer. Searena seemed to be calm about the whole thing, daydreaming again. I wanted to say something to her but, just before I was able to open my mouth;I heard a medium high-pitched male voice.
"Searena! Searena we caught some wonderful colorful fish! Me and Koi! We did such a great-!" The tan guy stopped talking when he saw me, he ruffled his straight, light brown hair making it puffy.
"W.who are you? Are you new here!? Nice to meet you! Who turned you, was it Kai or Searena?" The tan guy said in the friendliest voice I could imagine.
"I.I'm Lillily who are you two?" I said in confusion looking at Searena for help.
It seems she got my memo, because she swam up in between them and put a hand on either of their shoulders. They both blushed, "This guy here with the light brown hair is Ryan! The good old friendly-!" Ryan interrupted Searena to ambush her with a hug behind.
The guy with the White tail next to them seemed to be jealous of Ryan's action. Did he like Searena? I wondered.
Searena blushed and hugged Ryan back, "Hehe Ryan is a hugger and this one over here!" Searena went over and arm-hugged the white tailed guy. He blushed like crazy from this and seemed to avoid eye contact with Searena.
"S.searena you know I-I um-!" Searena grabbed the guy's red-faced cheeks and squished them with her brown hands.
"This is Koi, he's a bit shy! But, we all love him! It's ironic too, because his tail is as white as a Koi fish and again like a Koi fish he has red streaks in his hair."
I looked at his hair again and this time I saw the red streaks, guess this Koi guy has a hair color change thing, cool.
At this point, I realized that these Sirens weren't a threat at all and this made me curious about the two boys. Their history, their powers their- what was I talking about? Oh well I think I'm going to have a bite of that colorful fish, it's starting to look real appetizing.
